Ohhh, I did not see those. Then that is not the same kit as I had. Aggh. After looking up my old order emails I realize that it was our 2014 CX-5 mirror that I replaced (doh! - Senior moment!)
Anyway, that one should work, even with the scotchlocks. :-/
Yes and no. Yes you can do it without any programming, no the wires do not exist.
It's available as a kit with a new harness piece. I got one for my our 2019, but note you have to disassemble the driver A-pillar to install the harness. Still, it works well.
Here's one on eBay. Nno...
Well, I suggest you didn't read it closely enough. I quote:
"The following models are covered by the Settlement: Mazda2 2016-2022, Mazda3 2014-2018, Mazda6 2016-2021, CX-3 2016-2021, CX-5 2016-2020, CX-9 2016-2020, and MX-5 2016-2023."
Why would you think it wouldn't work with Win11? It's all browser-based, and the files (if you download them) are all PDFs. Just ignore the "Win10 Pro" statement on the page.
The engine in our 2014 failed some years ago due to no oil. There was no evidence of leaks like oil on the ground, so I now think it was not filled after the last oil change. Also, there was no warning light or anything until the rod knock started :(
Anyway, I had the dealership find a used...
Did you read this thread? Warranty has been extended for 24mos... take it to the dealer and ask.
Otherwise, you need to buy your own new touchscreen and replace it, or have it replaced.
^ What he said.
The shade tree fix is to find an empty straight road and do a series of the following: Speed up to 50-60 mph and brake HARD (but not quite hard enough to trigger anti-lock) down to 15-20mph, rinse/repeat about 3-4 times. Be sure to drive around for 10mins or so after that and...
NOTE: The big screen is only on top-level trims. The 10+" screen is on the lower trims (no info yet on if those will also have additional knobs or not).
So hold off on buy/no-buy decisions until ALL the details are released.
That's the bizarre thing. All those early reviews bitched about how heavy the CX-50's steering was, yet with mine it was fine and I didn't think it heavy at all. I could not tell the difference between it and the CX-5 (and my wife said the same). And now you, having driven a '23 CX-50, say it...
I don't know what to say about those poor CX-50 reports. Mine (a '23 model) is noticeably tighter and less floaty than the wife's 2019 CX-5. Now mine is a turbo with the 20" wheels, so that might account some for the stiffer ride. Also, the fit & finish on mine, inside & out, is just as good...
Well, given that we have BOTH the CX-5 and CX-50 in our household, I can say the CX-50 has BETTER handling than the CX-5, although a somewhat stiffer ride compromise.
So there's that...
Well, I would guess you have a slow leak in the tire, probably caused by a nail or screw that's still embedded in the tire (self-limiting). You'd have to jack up the corner and spin the tire to find it, but the dealer or a tire shop will get it pretty quick.
Note: this will not be covered by...
