I'm here in Maryland also worried about the whole summer tire in the winter thing. I know they say that these tires will suck in cold weather but I think I am going to just rough it and see. Dont feel like dumping 1k into cheep wheels and tires right now.

Actually I just took my speed back to the track for the second time. I am by no means good at launching this thing. My best run of the day was 14.2 with my COBB SRI as my only power mod. Oh and my reaction time was HORRIBLE on this one, I know :) Oh yeah, car 22 right lane

3rd was really upsetting me because I knew that it wasn't anything that I was doing to make it grind. I put in the TRZ mm and all my problems went away. I never grind 3rd anymore under any condition. I also have the bushings and i removed the counter weight to see how much I could improve it...

I have the Defi Red Racer also. Install was really easy. I would think that the mechanical gauge would be harder to install since you have to run the vacuum line to the gauge directly. It's much thicker and I didnt want to risk pinching it.

Yeah I did hear that. Kind of excited to see the final product. It was like 100 degrees out the day I was installing my gauge and removing something that delivered heavenly AC didnt seem right at the time :)

It's the Defi Red racer gauge and I just used the pod that came with it. I am really happy with the quality of the gauge and the install wasnt that hard. I wired it to the fuse box under the glove box. Only thing is the wires that came with it were about 3 inches too short..... figures...

I didnt like the idea of losing a vent so i installed it on the steering column. The color matches better then the crappy camera shows.

Water getting sucked in through the filter after a wash? That doesn't sound very safe? Hydrolock?

Yeah it doesn't make sense, from a speed 3 but brand new and nver used. Great deal if it is true though!
