Some guy in my town has that same body kit on his eclipse spider, and I really dont like the look of it on either car, but yes atleast someone is till thinkin about us protege owners.

well when i hear a ticking noise in my car I took it to the dealer and they checked the head out, nothin wrong with it. Took it to a local engine shop, one I trust. pulled the whole engine apart found 2 bolts missing to the exauhst man, and the rod bearings were flaking off.

I know when my light went on my abs sensor went out on my left rear wheel, so that could be your problem. From what im told its a fairly in-expensive part and easy to install.

sorry i havent replied yet, i was in cleveland for the weekend. The ticking noise sounded like it was coming from around the head at first, but it almost sounds like it could of been a valve noise, but they did find 2 bolts to the exhaust manifold missing so that may have caused the loud ticking.

So i purchased my 2003 Black Micah Msp back in early October, over the winter months my car started to make a ticking noise, as i have posted some threads saying this. Didnt think too much of it, thought it was possibly a valve sticking, let it go for a little bit. When May roled around i start...

Ok so I am building up my msp with forged pistons rods, porting the head, new transmission, but i was just wondering, the guy thats doin the machining for this said something about lightening the fly wheel just wonderin what this does and if its a good thing to do for the msp?

i had that same ticking noise and it turned out to be a wrist pin, so be carefull man. (time to rebuild the block)

what if you do plan on using higher boost? then what should you look at?

actually yes i just found out i will be doin some pretty cool stuff to this lol. Just found out that the ticking noise ive had is a wrist pin or a piston skirt, so this calls for rebuilding the engine. So i cant wait for that. gonna prob. get some wiseco pistons but not sure what rods i want.

hey black rose, before you blew your waste gate did it make a ticking noise by anychance?
