I live in Virginia and have experienced the same weather and some of the same events while getting on it in 4-5th gears. It is just a very very minor lag and it may well be wheel spin or bad gas. It doesn't happen everytime (less than 30% of the time). I have a Dashhawk and have looked for...
I put a coat of Klasse sealent on a while back to protect the paint. After a wash I use pinaccle spray detailer with carnuba wax. The cars stays amazingly clean, nothing sticks to it. Nothing touches the car but microfiber towel and mit.
Car has been great, no issues. Dealers are the pain in the butt. I feel like I am always trying to convince them of something they should know already. Examples are the Radio TSB (bass issues) and the dash creak. It is a known issue but somehow I have to prove it actually exists. I have 4k...
Just bought one of these yesterday(tues) from Ken, should be here tomorrow (thursday). $275 with free shipping (UPS ground). Can't wait to get it set up.
It is not so bad at 9am. Average drive is like 30mins in the morning, sometimes faster, rarely worse. Coming back around 2pm can be about 40mins but often faster. Overall it is not as bad as I expected since I am missing the peak hours.
I found a wheel/tire combo on craigs list: 17 inch Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 winter tires, wrapped in 235/45/17 ASA wheels. Bolt pattern is 5x114. Lot of tread left. They used to be on the dude's STI. Will these fit my MS3? He is asking $550.
Hey guys I tried to search the forum for info on upgrading the Bose speakers for my 08.5 GT with Bose. I couldn't find a clear GT-specific fix. Does anyone have a good shopping list for cheaply upgrading the system? I want to keep it as simple as possible but get an upgrade in sound quality...
My HU was replaced yesterday and overall it sounds about 20% better. It is actually louder with 30 sounding very loud and 35 is just painful. There is no more 34-35 vol or treble jump and the sound is more clear across the vol range. As said in previous posts my treble used to be set to +5...
I saw a similar jump in treble with the 34/35 mark but no bottom falling out. The quality just seemed muddy to me (I hope that is not just Bose). The dealer was cool and ordered a new head unit.
Had the dealer (Brown's Alexandria) check out my Bose today. I had only the 34-35 volume jump and they could just barely hear it. I also expressed my concern with the overall sound quality. They ordered a replacement HU without hesitation. My VIN falls outside the TSB range too.
Is anyone with a VIN outside the TSB range having stereo issues? The TSB say VINs from JM1BK******100088 to JM1BK******141738
(produced from January 7 to March 28, 2008) are the applicable models.
I have an 8.5 GT that was built very recently. My VIN number falls above the range of the TSB for...
