Dunno why you're changing plugs at 40k miles. The maintenance schedule for my 2016.5 calls for 75k miles. Even the severe schedule 2 states the same 75k miles.

Both my 2016 MX and my 2016.5 CX are still using the original OEM battery. We're talking at least 8 years old now, perhaps 9, and both are still doing the job just fine.

Interesting. I've never heard of this before. To my knowledge, our cars don't require this. It's no surprise that Batteries Plus is selling this service... On our cars, you'll probably run into some error indicators when/if you swap out a battery, but they should clear once the car gets rolling.

Nope, you're right. The OP said that the car was acquired in 22, I'm assuming that it's a 2022 but of course, I could be wrong. That's the only number that I have to go by, so... Probably not a 22 though, since the OP didn't mention warranty.

If the CX is a '22 I seriously doubt that it needs new plugs and I'm somewhat surprised that it needed a new battery. I'm still on the OEM from 2016 and still starting the car just fine. Some, or perhaps all, of those error codes will clear once the car gets started and moving.
