I've said it before, and I'll say it again here. Both of my Mazdas, a 2016.5 CX GT and a 2016 MX Club have the original firmware and both have ZERO issues. I occasionally use the Nav and I listen to music via flash drives almost exclusively. No problemo.

There's only ONE reason that this dealership would be using an oil that's not specifically recommended by the manufacturer. It's cheaper for them. They most certainly wouldn't be using it because they feel that it's somehow better for their customer's cars, now, would they?

The owner's manual for my 2016.5 most certainly does list the correct fluid for the transmission, Mazda FZ. Page 9-4 in my manual. Have you looked in your manual? The info is in the Specifications section.

Ah, you were talking about the maintenance app on your cell phone, right? I misunderstood; I was speaking of the app on the infotainment system. I have zero experience with the phone app since my car doesn't support this.

On my CX there are actually 3 'warning' indicators that may need to be reset. Oil change - fixed or flex Maintenance reminder Tire rotation. If you reset one but an indicator still shows, one of the others is in need of being reset as well.

Believe it or not, I'm still on the original OEM wipers and they're working just fine. The CX has been garage kept its entire life, so that helps.
