What mileage did you replace which parts. Please share

Oil Changes were done at around 4,200 miles and 8,800 miles. 9,000 miles / 12 months = new wiper blades.

    You Gotta Be Kidding Me!!!!

My dealer uses Castrol for $60(so far 1st and 2nd oil change have been FREE), then you get a $20 coupon off your next oil change. But, since the 1st two were FREE, I now have two $20 coupons towards my next oil change, so, even if they charge me, it would be $60-$20=$40 for Full Synthetic by...

Have a CX-5 - what should we get as our 2nd car?

My girlfriend (our 2nd car) always leases, used to always be Saturns until they went away, so far since has been Chevy Cruzes. But, this next time around when her car comes off lease, I may give her my CX-5, and I'll get something else, then it'll still be in the family, plus I get something...

    Mazda Extended Confidence Plan

I considered it, with all this tech, there's a lot to go wrong, but, ended up not going with it. They can't seem to fix my infotainment center under warranty, why would I think they could fix it under an extended warranty?!?!!?!?

Pros and cons of the CX-5

Not really any "Cons" that I can think of. I'm missing having a temp gauge, I like to see the engine warm up in the winter. I required a cargo cover with my purchase, so passer bys can't see in the back. Other than those could minor things, can't think of anything else bad. Also, I guess...

    2016 cx5 new, Traffic overlay won't work

My infotainment center still, almost a year from when I bought my CX-5, still has issues speaking & displaying text and emails. I think Mazda has bit off technology that they're not entirely ready for!!

recent trip, navigation messed up twice

Mine did this when set to "shortest distance", it took us down any cow path available to get from point-A to point-B in shortest distance. I quickly figured out that's not really want I wanted. So, I changed it back to "shortest time", then it tends to use main roads more, and not any cow path.

recent trip, navigation messed up twice

I didn't go with the NAV because I'd heard it's Tom-Tom based, which isn't that great. We've always used Garmin, specifically the Nuvi's probably that last 10 years or so, they seem to work pretty well, and a bit less expensive. Sure, they still screw up once in awhile, but, for the most...

    Normal tire wear?

Yeah, I tend to be a bit obsessive / compulsive myself. I agree, tires are important enough, it's a good thing to be a bit fanatical about them.

    Normal tire wear?

Still, uneven tire wear is more a sign of alignment issue, than of poor quality tires(I think). It's usually a good idea to get an alignment done when getting new tires, tires are so expensive. You want to at least start out with things lined up as they should be.

    CX5 2.5L AWD Transmission concerns...Will it last?

Jeep is basically a Dodge/Chrysler product, which is very "normal" for the tranny to give out at 70K miles, so, you're right in there... I had to have my 94 Dodge Grand Caravan tranny rebuild at 74K.

Spark plug change at 30,000 service

I made it a point to upload the service guide PDF to my Google Drive, so, I can bring it up any time on my phone or tablet. If they ever suggest a maintenance item, I can quickly pull it up on my phone to check the recommended mileage/month. My only question is transmission fluid?? I don't...

    Normal tire wear?

I'd have an alignment done. I had mine checked when my CX-5 was brand new, to make sure it was good to begin with, and it was within spec, I had it checked again at approx 8,000 miles and my right-front was out slightly. I purchased a 3 year alignment(not from Mazda), so, I'll check, and...

Would you buy a 'new' car with 100 miles on the odometer

We signed our deal, even though they didn't have the color/model we wanted in stock, they had to get it from another dealer. We agreed, with the understanding we were going to go over it with a fine tooth comb and reserve the right to reject it if it has any scratches. Fortunately it was...

    2016 CX-5 Oil Change Frequency

Since I start thinking about it at 5,000 miles, and makes sure it's done before the required 7,500 miles, in reality it's almost always less than 6,000 miles.

Service History not tracked by Mazda

I think everything my dealer has done so far is in there.

What do you LIKE about the 2016 CX-5?

I'm approaching my one year anniversary, but, I like to keep on top of my next purchase. If I had to do it again, today, it would still be the CX-5 Touring FWD. As much as I love my 2015, the 2016 is even better, I like the LEDs, I like the wheels better, and I like the nicer turn signal in...

    2016 Grill vs. 2013-2015

If you swap the grills, wouldn't you need(or want) to swap the fog light grill so, they all kind of match??
