Weird, why is the photocell for the autodimming on the back of the unit? I guess that's what they mean by the comparability since there is no rear facing sensor. Otherwise it should work since all it needs is 12vdc

Would you happen to have the headlight and tail light wiring diagram? I would put LED on turn signals but would be nice to centrally install the load resistors instead of spreading them out. I'm also considering disabling the DRL but jumping ACC power to the signature lights.

Well it's updated to 7.0 so should be the "new" September 2016 file but I haven't seen a single album cover. Yes I do have album art on the phone. Over bluetooth it uses google music play.

The moon roof has anti pinch (at least mine does). Not windows.

That's why I downloaded the actual data from IIHS and compared to several competitors and they are just about the same +/- a few in different areas. BTW according to IIHS the CX-F fowrward collision warning get 0 points because "This system does not meet the National Highway Traffic Safety...

As far as I know you can go to an xpel dealer and they can just cut one for you (at least my xpel installer has that option for me). I had my whole front pretty much wrapped with it. Just FYI.... The mirror caps are a PITA even for the pro installers. I went back 2x to get it done right.

Wife changed her mind. We are more partial to parchment but the layout of the CX-5 was a little too all over the place for her. Black dash, mostly black sides. I think if the seat backs and the doors were parchment we would have gone for it.

I you have a pre-cut from xpel for just that piece it's easy peasy to install yourself really. You can look up online but since it's a flat section it's not an issue.

My 13 didn't have all the Acurawatch features available at the time. As for trunk space I think the CX-5 has on paper more room and I can tell you the space is a little deeper. Width is just about the same I think (from fitting the stroller on both cars). We are just a little more comfortable...
