Definitely touch (and you need the key nearby). You can just put a finger and touch back of handle and the car unlocks (if you have key). If key is not near by it just does nothing, not even beep. The front button on the outside of handle locks the doors. I haven't tried to unlock with it...

My 2013 Acura RDX has pull handle and button. Button for manual lock and the pull for the unlock. It is a VERY nice feature. I'm guessing that pushing the button would work if you have gloves.

So noticed it yesterday after I came to stop without hands on wheel. It's VERY mild and it must have barely registered while my hands were on the wheel. Looks like a feature I guess. Would emailing mazda directly yield an explanation?

I have mine on High and even with wipers going constantly my headlights don't turn on.

I don't see my headlights turn on at all when wipers turn on. I did turn off my DRL's but that shouldn't affect the headlights.

I use the twist folding ones. They are awesome because they collapse small enough to fit between the seat and center console.

Also because of the frequent free updates it won't be outdated 2 months in. Also live traffic. And again, the voice recognition is just awesome. "Ok Google, play "Kids" playlist" BAM And it's free. Yes you can suction the phone to the windscreen but wouldn't it be nicer if you just plug it...

Or for some reason you park your car on a grassy field and go to a concert/party/whatever and it start to rain. You get back on your car and now you have to drive off this wet grassy field. Add some small grassy bumps and dips if you want to make it more interesting.

It's just a nut pushing up against the sensor. Yeah probably very difficult by hand but I bet all you need is angled needle nose pliers and they are off. And yes I do carry one in the car as part of my emergency tool kit.

I have used Android Auto in a Chevy rental compact last year and it was great with the google assistant on a Nexus 6. Just say 'Ok google" and off you go. No complaints on my end because it was very good at the voice commands. Wonder if they are somehow going to integrate AA to the HUD...
