well I know for a fact the CX-5 will brake for me suddenly because I was closing in too fast on a car that was turning away from the street.
It was the anti-lock braking type of stopping (short pulsed. Kinda like a 1/4 second burp of a GAU-8). Scared the hell out of me because it's quite...
So far with just about 80% Atlanta city driving I'm averaging 22.5mpg on a AWD 2017 CX-5. It's hilly, lots of stop lights, lots of traffic.
Took a longer 40 mile round trip and the computer shows just about 29mpg for that trip.
Well at least this answers the question of washer fluid instead of oil fill.

No experience with the 8, but with the FD you have to take it out on a lapping day or autox. The handling is just awesome on that car!
That said on highway cruising in flat south florida I got at best 22mpg HWY only but luckily you get to haul around a 20gal gas tank so you don't have to fill...
Mazda RX-7 didn't have one :-D
Pretty sure RX-8 didn't either. They have a shift reminder buzzer. Scared the hell out of me the first time because I didn't know what it was. I want to say I went about 1k over the redline (8200 redline maybe?). It was first gear so it got up there QUICK.
Bought my mazda3 in 2006 new and the only time after that it went to a dealership was when I test drove the CX-5 and when I traded it in with 120,000 miles on it. Only failure on the car was a leaky strut that I replaced. I also ran about 5 autocrosses with and did a round trip from Miami to...
OR OR OR.... You leave lights off and drive to dark road at night then flip them on. You will see the lights get a WEEEE bit brighter. Also I don't think the headlights turn when DRL is on. I drove down the street with DRL only last night testing intensity but don't recall lights bending.
Ok so after further testing I tried the process to reset the driver auto up function and it does have pinch protection.
I wonder if the pinch protection/auto up is controlled on the switch side (is the window motor part number the same for the Australian version as the US version on the...
As per the install instructions it has Homelink. I think the only thing the mirror needs is ACC power, batt power, and ground. It's not like my old Audi that the rear view mirror would auto dim my side mirrors too (that was cool!).
I think if the old mirror had these 3 lines then you can just...
Dynamat is not hard to install at all. Putting it in door might add enough mass to the skin to dampen some of the noise down. Besides I'm sure you can find someone to install it for you for much less.
