    Factory Mazda2 specs?

Different toe settings can have a BIG effect on turn-in feel. Not to mention the rear beam spec range is pretty wide and could be anywhere between those two you drove.

    Questions about sway bars

DDMWorks bar is great and I highly recommend it. Just do one bar unless you want bumped to STF(and do all the other stuff needed to keep up).

Anybody use the Motive power brake bleeder? which cap size fits our 2?

Thanks for the update! I may finally pick one up myself come spring time. I've used one years ago and it was great.

    Mazda 2 in the snow?

All seasons are not anywhere near comparable to snow tires. You will see a massive difference if you switch. On a related note I bought snow tires last year, put a couple thousand miles on them, and then moved to Virginia Beach. So I've got nearly brand new snow tires. Not entirely sure its...

    Mazda 2 STF Autocross Build

It's allowed. I have the DDMWorks shifter. It makes a good stock shifter into a great one. I like DDMWorks for this because it reduces throw at the shifter itself, not at the transmission. This means less stress on the cables and cable ends.

What did you do to your Mazda2 today?

This. A quick google search shows Miata motion ratios as .66 and .72... So the equivalent Miata setup would be something around 1550lb front springs and 850lb rear spring if my quick math is close. I will be swapping to 550lb rears for auto-x events most likely. Jeff and I will be doing...

    Mazda 2 STF Autocross Build

http://corksport.com/corksport-mazda-2-torsion-bar.html Maybe they changed it and didn't fix the site? Either way aluminum is a stupid material for anything meant to flex repeatedly.

    Mazda 2 STF Autocross Build

I recommend a similar bar(DDMWorks) only because the CS one is aluminum. Aluminum is a poor choice for a spring material.

    Hardrace LCA review

Do me a favor and move one of your ball joints to it's full limit and take a photo showing the angle. A lot of aftermarket "extended ball joints" are just moving the pivot upwards to extend... In order to change the roll center the pivot(ball-socket) needs to remain in same spot as stock, with...

What did you do to your Mazda2 today?

Put 700# springs up front, with 450# in rear. Rides excellent for my commute now. The heavier fronts seemed to balance out the chassis at 60+.

    flatlander937's Mazda2 build - SCCA STF / NASA NXF

Here's some pics from the final event last weekend. I was experimenting with 700lb rear springs... Just a bit too much. The rear was real skittish over big bumps. It MAY help to remove the rear sway bar and try it again. I had my wife with me, she had some fun riding along, had a BIG stupid...

    Mazda 2 STF Autocross Build

Nice! I'm glad you decided to go STF, its a lot more fun :) Maybe I'll get to see you at some event this spring when I make my way up to test and tune with Jeff.

    My 2014 Mazda2

I love those factory wheels, wish we could get them in the US easily.

    flatlander937's Mazda2 build - SCCA STF / NASA NXF

Ahh so I am. Regardless it's not ideal for auto-x at national level, but locally you'll have fun with it.

    flatlander937's Mazda2 build - SCCA STF / NASA NXF

AC delete not allowed, but the oil cooler is fine. Problem with the B-spec kit is rear springs are mounted to the shock, cannot change location legally. You'd need about 850# rear springs in stock location to match the B-spec kit valving. It will beat you shitless. STF is way more fun. You can...

    flatlander937's Mazda2 build - SCCA STF / NASA NXF

Ran last weekend with the TSCC again this time at ACU-4... by far the most scenic course I've seen! Also got magnetic numbers finally! From IZoomGraphics. They were great to deal with! Results: http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/results/2015/151018_results.html Paxed 26/103...

    Transmission details

They'll all be helical cut except for reverse which is straight cut. Don't know much beyond that. Maybe ask AN7 as he's blown up a transmission or two. Not sure if it's for class or not, but you could get more info for rear differentials being hypoid gear sets, Ford 9in being very high hypoid...

Yeah they sound like weak little tractor motors. Normal.
