    MazdaSpeed3 Towing Hitch

Unless you know your dealer VERY well, you will loose your warranty for pulling anything with your turbo'd MS3; powertrain, suspension, brakes etc. The days of being able to do anything with your car then running it into the dealer without fear of loosing your warranty when something breaks, is...

    MazdaSpeed3 Towing Hitch

If you pull into a dealer and they notice you have a hitch on your turbo'd MS3, I hope your just having routine service. If it's powertrain, suspension or brake warranty service, you can kiss your warranty bye bye. It's in the manual for more reasons than they just don't want to install a hitch...

where to buy a MS3 CAI?

You should have called Josh at Tonkin directly... Just because a website posts one thing does not mean that is the bottom line price. If you called and told him you were a forum member, you would have paid $310 shipped.

Question about cutting or heating springs.

Not to mention you will literally loose any warranty on your entire suspension. Trust me that will not be just your springs, struts and shocks. That will be ball-joints, tie-rods, sway-bars, all bushings and links etc. etc. A few hundred dollars for correct lowering is well worth it.

Is there a 'cutoff' date for newer MS3's to NOT have the motor mount issue?

I think you might have that mixed up with the re-flash information. That had a date/VIN# specific fix. I wasn't sure if your original question was answered.

Is there a 'cutoff' date for newer MS3's to NOT have the motor mount issue?

NOTED!!! Come on guys this is a problem period. If a car is advertised to run as fast as ours does the least bit of concern should be a motor/transmission mount. A dealership can't tell you "Mr. So&so we're sorry your engine and transmission are on the ground, maybe you shouldn't drive it so...

Is there a 'cutoff' date for newer MS3's to NOT have the motor mount issue?

The rear mount is not what breaks and causes the engine to drop, it's the side mount located under the battery. The bolt is vertical which in my opinion is an engineering flaw but hey I'm just one voice The rear mount to my understanding is the one that slowly comes loose and can break but the...

Another One Bites the Dust! - Motor Mount Failure! = Oh NOES!

Noted! I would love a dealer to tell me "you drove your car to hard." Hello have you seen the Mazda advertised performance specs? You don't get there that fast pushing the car....... This must be addressed and it's an easy solution. Replace it with a redesigned mount or a new bolt etc.

Another One Bites the Dust! - Motor Mount Failure! = Oh NOES!

Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is to keep reporting it to the NHTSA. Now make sure you put what happen and what Mazda did to fix it. Eventually what will happen is either it will become a Recall/TSB or someone will legally go after Mazda and I would hate to see that. Until I viewed...

My exhaust tip is black, my stereo won't play MP3s, and will a CAI void my warranty?

Your sense of humor is one of a kind. (drinks) Seriously though, check with your insurance company. Alls I had to do was call and say "yesterday on highway such and such a dumptruck hauling rocks was dropping them all over the highway and BAM, one hit my windshield. Now I have a large...

Powdercoated stock rims on Silver, chop'd

Being you are modifying the wheel from it's original state, you can kiss any warranty on your wheels bye bye. Considering the powdercoating process, I would almost 99.9% bet they would say, even though your wheel bent in a pot-hole or whatever, the powercoating weakend the wheel in the heating...

My exhaust tip is black, my stereo won't play MP3s, and will a CAI void my warranty?

Hey Swamp! I'm close to you and man the road contruction trucks are out of control. I cannot travel in any direction without running into a dumptruck that fails to use his net or roads that are being repaved with tons of left over rocks waiting for a nice SUV to pick up and trough at me. I...

Powdercoated stock rims on Silver, chop'd

Interesting and HOT! I was just telling myself if they only came gunmetal. The black looks great but I prefer the gunmetal. Only thing I would do is maybe go a shade or two lighter on the gunmetal. I'm either going to install the Mazdaspeed/Rays wheels or powdercoat mine. I guess it's time...
