Having owned a 2013 2.0 Touring and now a 2015 2.5 Touring, I have found no problem with the acceleration of either one. The 2015 is usually pegged at 7.6 sec to 7.9 sec to 60mph which seems very adequate to me. These numbers are better than a mid 70's Corvette L48.

Shotty Info? (What's that?) No, a CX-5 does not accelerate like an RS, but it still sounds pretty healthy, even a 14 year old girl can tell that. Apparently you can't.

The Defender also has a tread depth of 10/32, versus 8.5/32 for the Premier. Just drove over some speed bumps for the first time, they take those things a lot better..

Over 40,670 miles with 148 fill ups, gas average from dash is 28.70. Average from pump is 28.40. Conclusion is that the difference is inconsequential. Main difference is probably variance at the pump.

No they are tinted. The rear windows and hatch window are factory tinted darker than the front ones, and the front passenger door is showing the darker rear tint, while the driver's is not.

When the lease is up in Sept, we will be buying our 2015 Touring. For one thing I do not like electric parking brakes. So I'll give up a little in in a quieter, smooth riding suspension. I'll stick with acceleration, and handling.

After 137 fill ups on my 2015 CX-5 2wd Touring, my dash average is at an average of 28.56. My figured by the pump number is 28.40. To my mind, the difference is negligible.
