You have to be careful closing it or there's no question that the latch will break. Best thing to do is squeeze the latch before you lower it and once it's lowered in position release your grip on it otherwise the mechanisms make contact on the way down and eventually the plastic will break.

Are you sure.? I was under the impression that the NAV card was only required until a traffic sign on speed limit sign was detected then the system read the sign and displayed the info on the HUD. I'll have to test it.

Shouldn't you be running 5w20 syn oil? Loud idle on startup is normal, it's the fast cat warming, usually drops back to normal after 20-30 seconds. ps: don't overfill the oil, half way between min/max is fine.

I have a 11 yo 2016 CX-5 with 45,000 miles on the ODO. It will definitely last another 10 years. In order to have 10 care free years you have to find one that was taken care of and has low mileage. They're out there but hard to find. Kinda like Bigfoot.

Above 2021's. 2019 - 2021 turbos could develop cracked cylinder head but they're covered under extended warranty for this problem. Usually presents itself as a coolant leak. The NA engines can also have this problem but it will present itself as a oil leak. As of now no extended warranty yet...

I think the HUD will show the stop signs, speed limits when it can detect them. I think the SD card is needed when you pull out onto a road and there's no speed limit sign in view. The system will pull that from the SD card as well as any Nav info required.

Go into the phone menu, select settings and look for TEXT msgs.

As well as displaying the msg it also reads it to you.
