I don't know about scan tools. But, if you're running a full turbo back or close to it with your DP and catless exhaust you're most likely getting it. I've got it too. Easy way to find out.....Get on the freeway, stomp it in a third gear roll to fourth, when your car "turns off" and bucks you...

Oh and as far as your car's exhaust smelling without the cat, it isn't bad at all. Free flowing exhaust has a "nice" smell, leaks on the other hand suck and is too much. Exhaust leaks FTL!

I would strongly recommend not "mixing and matching" different exhaust company components. They never seem to match up correctly. I may be wrong, but we've had two different MS3s with a few different exhaust components from different companies, no good. Maybe TurboXS worked on making their TP...

can you provide close up pics of the filter area/tray with the oem ic shround off? i ask because on the corksport site, it looks to be made of cheesy aluminum foil-like material. i would expect more from corksport, so i am hoping its not. thanks.
