if i were going to some light off-roading on a regular basis, i would get a subaru.

i like the escape. i think the 2.0l engine (turbo) is much peppier than the cx-5's, but it is pretty hilly where i live. the main turnoff for me is the escape's VERY shiny interior finishes. the huge sunroof is a big plus.

the new jeep has MUCH bigger problems than design (which i like). trannys needing replacing, computers bad and a whole lot of other serious immoblizing problems. i was considering one, but after doing research it was a definite no-go.

where in PA did you get that deal? here in pittsburgh dealers are not discounting much at all.

nice. i really like the red in-person. roof rails are a must have for me. i think the car looks naked without them.

all those things are comfort/convenience features. the new mirrors are a safety thing = especially if it has eliminated the shaking issue.

they don't call them stealerships for nothing. i like the roof siderails. i think the cx5 looks naked without them. when i look on the mazda website they cost 250 if they are factory installed. 500 if the stealership does it.
