Thanks for the info, pix, and especially the link. I think they look better than the MS6 wheels and the diameter(25.4) is a tick smaller than the 215/45-18s(25.6). I've gotta agree with Steve about which way to go. Leave the stockers and get some lightweight 16x8 wheels w/235/40 'R' rubber...

Has anyone actually TRIED a set of the RX-8 wheels for fit? I know Crossbow has 17x8's with a 48mm offset, and these are 18x8 with a 50mm offset, so it sounds pretty close. Merv

You really think the first year has problems? Our 6 has only been in the shop twice for cooling fan problems, and the second visit was caused by the technician during the first visit. I know many people say "don't buy a car during it's first year.", but I've done that, let me count...

Say what you want, but it's the car that I want. Being older than most of you guys, I don't need to prove anything to anyone, and I want a nice comfy family car that handles almost as well as a Miata or RX. I bet I get less tickets in this sleeper, too! As I said before, our MSP and Mazda6...

big wheels/little wheels If they would let me, I'd go back to the 14x6's on my Spec Miata at 8.5 lbs with 205/55-14's in a minute. The car has always felt like a dawg with these 15x7, 13+ lbs, and 205-50's....and not nearly as much fun!

That's a nice looking set of pipes! What happens without the pre-cats as far as emissons go? I bet that puppy will really BREATH with the entire exhaust, if it's anything like the headers :)
