i ordered my cobb sri on a monday night and received it on a wednesday. you'll be sure to enjoy it. i am waiting in anticipation for the maps.

when i had my VW R32, a company called Evolution Motorsports (evoms) made an intake of that type. i had one on my car and it actually made more power than a CAI with the intake filter located away from the engine bay. given that i just purchased a Cobb SRI, i hope they come out with a set up...

now that's a brain tickler...

to comment on fourthmeal's last post, the point of this thread is not to get an answer to my specific problems. instead, it is to see what everyone has had problems with. mainly, if everyone seems to be having similar problems, it may be brought up to mazda to see if a general update/recall...

I've read through many posts across a few different mazda forums, including this one, and have seen an array of different problems (big and small) from owners of the MS3. The purpose of this thread is to simply get a feel for what problems seem to be the biggest and most wide-spread. So...

this is my only real complaint too. i get about 250 miles until the gas light comes on. that's from a full tank. i plan to get to the dealership to check it out. me thinks a bad coolant sensor, a necessary reflash or maybe some loose seals. i have some clunky sounds coming from the rear...

unfortunately, the MS3 sits outside, all day, everyday. another little beast stays in the garage.

long live the flapper, though. seriously great sounding exhaust on that car. but, SEVERELY underpowered.
