Air disturbance, Rear Windows & Air Pressure/Ear Pressure (Merged)

I agree, I open 1 or 2 of the front together with 1 or 2 of the back windows. I experienced the same weird ear popping sound once when I forgot to close the back window after closing the front windows.

    Rear Vent provides no heat?

The 07's heat comes from outlets below the front seats, I'm not sure if it's the same with the 08.

    New 08 or Used 06 -- help!

If you could afford it... get the 08, the refinements over the 06-07 makes it all worthwhile.

    Mazda5 real-world Mileage numbers

Consider this, I found a receipt from January this year, regular gas was still $1.06/liter here in Canada. Now it's $1.30/liter, that meant for $45 I had 42 liters last January and now it's only 34 liters, that's a difference of 8 liters. (shocked)

Question for all 2008 GT owners.

Is it me or the lower 4 LEDS on the driver side dimmer than the other LED's or is it the angle of the shot? Looking at the photo , I could say that the middle LEDs on both sides are a bit off.

Mazda5 Tires: Issues & Replacement Recommendations

That's precisely why I decided on the 07GS here in Canada with it's 16" wheels and forgo some features. It doesn't really look bad, the handling may not be as sharp as with the 17" wheels but I think the ride is more comfortable. Although the tires are not as cheap as I thought they would be...

    Noisy Horn

Huh, you should hear the Hella horn I put on the car I had in the Philippines! You need a loud one there because of the way people drive out there. Here I can hardly remember how many times I've used my horns while driving. I use the horn to confirm when I lock the door but it's handy that you...

GM small seven-seat van (Chevy Orlando, merged)

Worldcarfans website claims this is a Roewe van developed in cooperation with GM. (headbang) http://www.worldcarfans.com/9080430.016/new-roewe-mpv-spied\ By the way, the wheels on that van would make a nice alternative to the 16" (Canadian GS) wheels.

    MT or AT

Try driving stick in a 45 minute stop and go traffic, ie. wait a couple minutes then move half car length then wait a couple minutes then move another half car length. My legs and knees were shaking with fatigue after 45minutes of that. (freak) But on the other hand, I was able to drive through...

    MT or AT

I'd love to have a Manual Mazda5 but my wife does not how to drive yet and an Auto would be easier for her to learn. I'm still dreaming for a Manual Mazda5 still.

please check me before I screw up my rims

That's the major reason why I decided to get an 07GS with 16" rims instead of the GT. I'd rather have a more comfortable ride and forgo the added features and the better looking 17" rims on the GT. I also wanted cheaper tires when it's time to change it.

    Mazda5 Review in LA Times

I don't care what the obese people say about the Mazda5! It's the right size for me and my family, it's probably one of the best handling in it's category whatever that is. If it can't fit their wide butts and can't handle the weight of their fats, then I'm very sorry for them because they just...

    New Review at CanadianDriver

"new gauges and controls with white illumination replacing red backlighting;"(shocked) "New for 2008, the round gauges and dash controls are backlit in white at night, a welcome change from the glaring red of previous Mazda5 controls."(wow) What Red Backlighting? To think that Greg Wilson also...

    Post pics of your Mazda5

Is it just me or is the front tire installed backwards, the V groove should be pointing forward like the rear wheels, ain't it?

Brief but Good Review of the Mazda5 at AutoWeek

I see the practicality of the Mazda5 like this, We'll be driving to Calgary this summer. Me, my wife and 3 year old kid with all our things in the back. By the time we get there, we'll use the third row and go around with my cousin, her husband and their little girl. That sums up just how...
