I would say it's likely the seals, this is pretty common at the mileage you have on the engine. I need to do my own, it burns oil like crazy, 212k miles and counting.

It was a TSB, I had this problem and Mazda replaced my intake manifold at about 39k, just before the warranty ran out. God that was a long time ago! I doubt any manufacturer would replace a manifold on a 10 year old car.

Glad you made it out ok and yes, I am still around but not a vendor any more unfortunately. I gotta think the Insurance Co will say totaled considering the age of the car and the amount of damage sustained.

How much oil are you burning? It's not an uncommon problem with the FS and higher mileage. Could be blow-by or your EGR system... I burn through a quart every 500 miles or so, been like that for a long time. I am 99% sure it's blow-by with almost 208k on my car.
