They are near factory spec which is valved for a factory ride, not the weight of the car. I have them and they work great. I have about 20k on them now and they are great.
exactly. If your not driving hard 100 percent of the time, look elsewhere compared to the pilots. they wear quickly. Every set I have owned were not a long lasting tire.
55w is only on high beam, so no matter what you have in, you will have pissed drivers if you leave them on. I have talked to many people and they all agreed that the 55w HID is fine in high beam.
I am also installing an LED light bar for nighttime. I care less about pissed off drivers as...
I think I have to do that as well, Just noticed this spring that I have a little rust coming out on the arches because my previous tires rubbed and hooked the paint off the rear arches.
I spent the afternoon redo'ing my HID lighting in my 5. I pulled out all the old stuff that's been there since 2008. We noticed lately that the low beams were very hard to use. You could not see anything with them. I hope the new stuff fixed the problem. I then installed a set of quick...
Are you getting the car's computer tuned before the turbo install? Im interested to hear your results with that. I took our 5 on a road trip this past weekend. I love how zippy the thing is compared to my Jeep. ha ha. passing 140kmh is so easy in it! ha ha. My jeep has never seen 140 I...
Hey mazda dude. The car is much smaller than the 5, The 5 has what I like to call a greenhouse. The amount of visability from the cockpit in it is awesome. Plus cargo space is about double what the cx-3 has. Its not cramped but if 4 of us wanted to go on a weekend trip, we would need a...
Well, after driving the CX-3 today. We are going to purchase one. A GS with lux package. Price is too good. We are keeping the 5 as well. I just have to sell my Harley first. anyone?
The car is awesome, lots of zip and a nice interior. We are impressed.
If you have 19k on your 06, yep, you gotta get behind the wheel more. I am at 126k on my 07. Just to note, this is not my only rig either. my 2011 Jeep JK unlimited has 167k on it, my 2005 suburban has 125k on it and my 2010 avalanche has 79 k on it.
What is the corksport made out of? Maybe I can take the stock one, and add some length to it to protect the bottom of the rig? I have a plasma cutter, and waiting on my CNC plasma machine.
We just picked up (on Saturday) a barely used Factory roof rack for 150 bucks. I cannot wait to get it mounted so I can get some accessories on there and add functionality to our 5.
The car is awesome.
Well, obviously they blew the stop sign. New 5 to you! glad everyone is ok. Same thing with my accident. MASS always wins. I got hit head on on the highway by an elantra out of control, I was in an F150, I walked away, they never.
Congrats and welcome to the family. We are still in love with our 5 even after 8 years of ownership. It is the longest I have ever owned anything mechanical. Usually Cars last 1 to 2 years with me. But the 5 is so good and versatile that its a keeper until it dies.
After some time driving on these tires, We are 100% impressed with them. Cheap from Canadian tire, purchased the good warranty, so when we get to about 50% worn, a mysterious sidewall failure will happen and a new set of tires will be available! ha ha.
