    Bravo Mazda!

As much as I love my Cx5 (best car Ive owned to date) their handling of infotainment has been a disaster. They shot themselves in the foot by not offering it from the get-go and now theyre recovering. CarPlay has been out since 2014. As a 2017 Cx5 GT owner, if they really dont offer apple car...

    Battery problems?

probably...but a battery in a 2016.5 should not be failing now unless it's defective. The only battery problems I've ever had in my cars, new or old, was because of user error if I left something plugged into a charger port or left a light on or something.

    damage from 30k oil-change interval?

i'd imagine 30k with no oil change and you're gonna see some permanent damage to the engine even with synthetic oil. i don't see why someone would be changing their oil routinely and then all of a sudden just stop unless they didn't want to pay the labor price for dealerships and either did it...

    The unreliable Mazda ?

ah good to know, i test drove the hybrid and didn't know the other models used a regular 6 speed. I have yet to drive an 8 speed but they seem really nice. I'm going to drive my cx5 for the next 7-10 years depending on how prevalent and cheaper electric cars and charging stations will become in...

    Car learns your driving habits?

I'm not a mechanic but my mechanic friends say it's a good idea to punch your car once a week to "clear" it out. Never knew if this was accurate or not

    The unreliable Mazda ?

well objectively mazda does have the edge in handling but subjectively you could argue it's the best looking CUV (especially gen2) and another subjective argument is that it the CRV and RAV4 both have CVTs. For practicality reasons there's no better choice than the CRV. It does feel like Mazda...

    Car learns your driving habits?

the car's ECU absolutely learns your driving habits and adjusts accordingly. I'm assuming resetting your battery would clear these settings like Puyapim said. Or you could just start driving how you want to drive and over time it will adapt. Also there isn't really much of a break-in period for...

    The unreliable Mazda ?

No doubt Toyota cars hold their value really well. My wife traded in her 2011 Carolla for more than what she owed then bought a highlander. No one here is going to argue that Toyota holds the value better but people will argue they would rather take a bigger deprecation hit to drive something...

    Key fob signals and break-ins

here's how they do it and it works even on new mercedes. you could wrap your keyfob in foil or something at night but that's a pain in the ass https://gizmodo.com/watch-thieves-hack-keyless-entry-to-steal-a-mercedes-in-1820767189 (they use the signal from keyfob in your house to relay it to a...

    The unreliable Mazda ?

my favorite make of cars is mercedes (i still love mazda!) but despite how well built those cars are, my (now scrapped) 2005 c class was a money sink. i wasnt able to drive more than a few thousand miles a year because all the other times it was int he shop, mostly because of electrical issues...
