I reset all settings and verified it was checked on but it still won't show.

I checked and it was on. Also reset the entire system to factory defaults and reverted the map update but it still will not show speed limit signs on the main screen. Sign recognition is working since the HUD still displays speed limits when camera picks up the road signs.

Mazda just got back to me indicating the car was overfilled by approximately 1 Liter but they dont think there was any long term damage. They just offered to document the issue in case of future problems and after I insisted they are offering to have the dealer that over filled it check it over...

Has anyone lost the speed limit being displayed on the main navigation screen with this release? My dealer updated it to .546 couple of weeks ago and I updated the maps to latest version and now I no longer see the Speed Limit on main screen based on GPS/Nav Data. It still shows it on the HUD...

Thanks for verifying. I noticed the dealer also updated my Mazda connect firmware to the .546 release couple of weeks ago. I wonder if that was what removed it or just a glitch. I did also revert the update by restoring autoback up of the SD card and speed limit is still not showing on main screen.

Yes they did put it in writing and I did forward that to Mazda corporate. They are currently contacting both service department to get more details.

Thanks for the info, mines kept failing to update and couldn't figure out why since I was downloading from Mazda website and kept downloading "Gracenote_ADR_October2017.up". After your post and googled and found link to "Gracenote_NA_October2017" and this version installed fine.

Downloaded it again each time and mines is on firmware 59.00.502.

I tried multiple times after formatting different drives to FAT32 format and copying the October 2017 update but each time it fails to recognize the update. Perhaps issue related to our CMU version or something else.

I have the exact same issue and tried different usb drives and on both of the front ports. I assumed in my case it was because my 2018 CX-9 had the update already but I guess the update might be faulty.
