I owned an MP3 and was the third person in the whole US to install a turbo on one. I probably owned, broke, and sold my MP3 before you even knew what a Protege was. I've probably forgoten more about that motor than you will ever know.

Yes, the S2000 is capable of 13.9sec 1/4 mile. Bone stock. Just go to www.s2ki.com and search for 1/4 mile time. I'm sure the numbers that honda gives aren't done with a vtec clutch dump(6000rpm). That's the only way to get the 13.9sec 1/4 and the 5.6sec 0-60. Why don't you do some research...

No, it just makes it obvious that you don't know what you are talking about. The S2000 runs the 1/4 mile in 13.9 seconds. It's 0-60 is 5.6 seconds. I don't know the RX8's 1/4 mile time, therefore I wouldn't comment on it. But I do know the RX8 is slow.

Did you say that it was non-intercooled? If so, your motor is as good as gone with a T04. From what you have posted so far, this tells me that you and the shop you had do the install know's nothing about exhaust flow and how to properly size a turbo to a motor. The exhaust flow from the FS-DE...

Uhmmmm,.....no. Maybe an RX8, they are slow anyway. But a 350Z,....no,....you wish. Unless you are talking about the slow auto with the smaller motor. If so, that's nothing to brag about.

Was it a bone stock RX7? If not, that's why. The RX7 is an awesome handling car, and with full coilovers, the car is amazing. The S2000 is amazing stock, but nowhere near the handling of a RX7 with full coilovers.

I was mistaken, the S2000's 0-60 is 5.6seconds. Still VERY fast. I think the supercharged S2000 has an average 0-60 of 5.0 to 5.2seconds.:eek: That's in the range of cars such as the Ferrari Modena and the Z06.

Exactly,....nothing more, nothing less. The S2000 isn't the best car ever made either. But, in performance, the S2000 is far beyond the RX8. In comfort, the RX8 is far beyond the S2000.

Nope. That is the 0-60 done by magazine testers. The real 0-60 is done with a 6000rpm clutch dump and it then scoots to 60mph in only 5.4. I should know.

There isn't a catagory where the RX8 performs better than the S2000 in. I'm not trying to take anything away from the RX8, but performance wise, the S2000 is superior to the RX8. The RX8 shouldn't even be compared to the S2000 in performance.

No you didn't. End of story. The S2000 is faster than the RX8 period. No if's and's or but's. The S2000 has a faster 0-60, faster 1/4 mile time, and even a faster top speed than the RX8. And I'll mentin that the S2000's 0-60 is as fast as 5.4 seconds. That's more than a half a second faster...

By the time he spent all that money on the car, he could have gotten a great car to begin with. It's still a good looking car though.
