I think the HUD will show the stop signs, speed limits when it can detect them. I think the SD card is needed when you pull out onto a road and there's no speed limit sign in view. The system will pull that from the SD card as well as any Nav info required.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I don't use AA, never did, don't need it and my phone works perfectly and my text msgs come through, even the text msgs are spoken in a sexy voice when the car is moving as well as being displayed on the screen.

Are you talking about FM or AM stations? I have a 16 also and haven't noticed anything too bad about the radio. Do you have the Bose radio or the non Bose ? You can tell by looking at the speaker on the drivers door. It should say Bose.

Disable Android Auto, try your phone just through the Bluetooth function. If it works fine and you can receive text msgs, (text and voice) then the problem points to AA. I just use the bluetooth connection for my phone and voice is clear and text msgs come through fine.
