Remove the negative battery terminal for about 10 mins. That worked for me and alot of others on this forum when the hatch wouldn't open at all. May work for you since it may be some iteration of the former problem we all had.

Since you're in FL. you probably have a heat pump for your house. Does it sound like the reverser valve on a heatpump. When the valve flips for defrost mode it makes a godawful sound like a moan or bark for just a second. If it sounds similar it might be something in the hvac system of the vehicle.

They should all be based on the Infotainment update version not the SD card.

I have noticed a slight deviation on our Turbo but nowhere near 200 rpms. It's very slight. Our NA non CD CX-5 does not waver at all. 200 rpm change at idle is not normal.

If you don't want to mess with it find an auto upholstry shop or maybe a body shop.

It's probably the same radiator that's in the CX-5 Turbos so it's good to hear it lasted that long.
