What to expect at 100K miles? 2013 CX-5

I actually have a few good Firestone stories. I'll share one. Went to Tirerack, found some tires, put in cart. Then thought "Let me support a local business and see if they can come close to the price." Called Firestone. Guy says "Well you can pay tax and buy from me, or pay shipping and buy...

Firestone is my go to trusted 'chain mechanic' actually. Worked on both my Mazda and Volvos.

2015 CX-5 GT With Blown Head Gasket...Advice Needed

Like a freaking Volvo. If you replace the battery you need a dealer or someone with VIDA software connect to the car to TELL it it has a new battery. I wish I was joking. It will work if you don't but not as well.

2015 CX-5 GT With Blown Head Gasket...Advice Needed

Just want to say for the record replying to "I can't find a good indy that knows Mazda"...because Mazda's ain't all that complicated or special. Any decent mechanic can replace a head gasket in your Mazda. You don't need a specialist. That's one of the reason we DRIVE THESE CARS.

What to expect at 100K miles? 2013 CX-5

You don't need a dealer. Any garage can do ALL of that. You don't even need a 'national chain'. You can certainly buy the coolant yourself and take it to that mechanic. As for spark plugs, yea, risk of cross threading has been a thing forever. And it's always been a warning to be careful. It's...

    Mazda Remote Start Question

I'd bet money it would work on any Mazda. They havent certified it for a 50 means they haven't tried yet.

    Mazda Remote Start Question

OK so the newer Mazda's have this remote start app. For all intents and purposes it is currently free "for 3 years" as Mazda says. Some cars are apparently beyond this 3 year mark and Mazda still hasn't announced what this charge will eventually be. Am I right so far? I know at least part of...

    Hit A Curb With Our New 2024 CX-5 :(

I'll give you that. But I sincerely doubt OP needs an alignment.. Pet Peeve #255: People babying their SUV's or giant pickups. I have no qualms about driving OVER things...that's what I LIKE about an SUV. If you have to baby your SUV, you bought the wrong one. Buddy bought a big honking...

    Hit A Curb With Our New 2024 CX-5 :(

I would hope our cars can go over a curb and not be destroyed so easy. Isn't that an ADVANTAGE to these vehicles? :D
