Convert your FLAC to WAV. WAV works on the USB stick and will sound the same as FLAC.

Yes I have version 9. I see the latest version is 1.1.1.02071 but it wont recognize it when I try to update. Why can't we update after version 9?

Do you have the roof racks? I remember hearing someone having a whistle and it was coming from his roof racks.

This is in the owners manual "The recommended capacity of the USB memory is 16 GB or less" Maybe this is the problem. (dunno) I use 32gb USB sticks with no problems.

It simply depends on where you live. I live in sunny southern California and had an AWD Escape. It simply was a waste where I live. FWD is all you need here but back East would be a different story and if you don't need it where you live why pay the extra money.
