I would suggest that before you start this process, you first need to determine what's causing the issue, what the fix is, and whether Mazda is covering the repair under warranty.
I think you'd need this information in order to determine exactly what your lawsuit applies to, and what resolution...
Quick update, Amazon's Prime Day sales are running and the prices on the cams above have dropped quite a bit. Prices that follow are in $CDN: Redtiger F17 Elite is now $299 from $399, Viofo A329S is now $579 from $689, and the Rove R3 is now $237 from $399.
I also posted my review of the F17 Elite dashcam here.
On the subject of headlights, I noticed that the low-beam cutoff on my 2022 CX-9 is different from my old 2018 CX-9. The old one had a relatively flat cutoff with a very slight step. The 2022 has more of a "hump" where the step used to be...
Hey guys, just posting my review of the F17 Elite dashcam.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I did not pay for this dashcam, or the hardwire kit that came with it, which is normally sold separately. A big thank you to @Redtiger for offering me the opportunity to test and review this F17 Elite dashcam.
First...
Treating the seals in preparation for winter temps is also useful in preventing your doors, liftgate, hood, and gas cap from freezing shut after a car wash. The silicone spray acts as a water displacer, and it also helps with preventing the ice from "sticking" even if you don't dry the seals...
Agreed. All of the tires being compared probably work great in normal wet conditions, the difference is simply that CC2s will reach their limit sooner than the other comparable tires when it comes to traction on wet surfaces. If you never come close to that limit, you won't have issues.
I love it! I'd say it's geared more towards the "casual" tuner, someone who just wants to plug it in and go. With that said, the JB4 community is full of people much more experienced with tuning who are comfortable with modifying parameters, interpreting the logs, and then making adjustments to...
17" is about the smallest you can go with the CX-5 turbo due to the bigger brakes up front. For the CX-5 N/A, the brakes are a bit smaller so you might be able to go to 16, but don't quote me on that. Hopefully someone else can confirm.
Welcome @Blackout70! The car looks great with the blacked out trim! I also came from sedan/tuner imports.. I had a couple of Accords and an IS250 as well.
Payam and Terry over at Burger Tuning sent me some extensions for the second MAP sensor connector at the intercooler. This essentially makes disconnecting and reconnecting the JB4 much easier, though once it's installed there's really no reason to uninstall it unless you need to troubleshoot an...
It's likely that the dealer mechanic simply doesn't want to be liable for any issues after the transmission service, in case something happens to go wrong. I can see them turning people with high mileage away, especially since there is no transmission fluid change interval published in the...
Besides what's already been mentioned, it might be a good idea to change out the cabin air filter and at least inspect the engine air filter. Both are super easy to do.
I go by tire ratings and customer reviews. Usually the reviews or the retailer websites will offer a little more insight. I've used Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2s for the last 6-7 years. I think they offer good grip and excellent durability, but they are noisy on clear pavement. I think that if I...
Hi @CarpeDiem, I know its been a while but I wanted to know if these wheel spacers are still available. If they are, would you be open to shipping to Canada?
Thanks for adding the pictures @redline3104! Prefix updated. Good luck with the sale!
Sidenote for any interested buyers, I had this intake on my 2018 CX-9 and moved it on to my 2022 CX-9 recently. Still works great, and the included AEM dryflow filter is very easy to clean and maintain (no...
I've had good experiences with the Michelin Xice and Bridgestone Blizzak lines. I have yet to try Nokian Hakkapeliittas but I hear those are one of the best for ice and snow. The Blizzak DM-V2s I had on my last CX-9 were great for the 6 seasons I used them, and I probably could have gone another...
The tint in the OEM front window glass is a very, very light tint to reduce glare and UV. It's what gives the OEM glass a slightly green or blue hue. The tint is either layered into the laminated glass, or the glass is dyed during construction.
I don't think you have anything to worry about...
Personally, even out of warranty, I would change the oil once a year regardless of mileage. My reasoning is that over the years, the mileage interval for oil changes has gotten longer, most likely due to improvements in the engines and improvements with the oils themselves. I went from 3k to 5k...
