Digital gauges that display on a screen

is there anything out there that takes sender signals and converts them into an output that will show up on an in dash screen? Either a separate unit or *shudder* laptop software? If I'm forced to, it might end up being cheaper to build a carputer. In all my travels I've never seen anything like...

Want a cheap gauge pod? heres how

I've thought of using PVC pipe before ... but didn't ... His would look better with a larger gauge though, 2-3/8 maybe. to each their own.

    one sick mazda 323 (familia)

That one in the video looks like a 2nd gen (BG chassis, not BF) to me. I think you're thinking of the white BG with a B6T also from Puerto Rico, run by Dejavu racing team, turning 600whp and 10.4 quarter miles.

    Race Seat Opinions

for track days, do you have to have a non-reclining seat? If NOT, I strongly suggest the sparco torinos. I have them and drive 100k a day back and forth to work, very comfortable. But they also hold great in autoX. quite a bit heavier than stock though.

would you trade the msp for the ms3??

not for me. if it was AWD then probably I would do everything in my power to get it. But a fast FWD car + my older boosted AWD car is more than enough toys for me at the moment. Doubt I'll have another new car for several years.

    Tire pressure

I believe there's a sticker on the driver's door opening that says what the recommended pressure is. It's in the owner's manual, and there should be a min and max pressure rating on your tires.

    What to get next?

'84 or '85 Supra. I've always loved those cars. they're rare now too, just like your MP3 is rare. I wanted one so bad, but couldn't afford it at the time so I drove a Celica GTS for 10 years...

    Tire pressure

it depends on your driving style, what you have in your trunk - huge stereo, no stereo.... start with the stock pressures (32/32) and if you want less understeer, increase the fronts by 2psi at a time (until 40-ish). On both sets of tires I've run, I've found a 4psi difference (front higher)...

msp turbo kit for my p5

I believe the MSP oil cooler to be overrated. i already have a supplemental oil cooler that I will likely be installing this spring to keep the oil temps down. I believe you need an oil cooler, but the MSP one is somewhat useless. Consider that the thermostat on the MSP is designed to be open...

BOV placement theory - your opinions?

As far as i know, there are 2 schools of thought on where to properly place a BOV or recirculating valve. 1) is within 14" from the throttle body. The reason for this is to allow the reverse pressure wave coming from the TB to be released sooner, and allow air that is still being pushed by the...

Broke my Apex Motorsports Downpipe WTF!

one of my first mods was a 2.5" midpipe and single high flow cat. Definitely felt a seat of the pants improvement over stock. More consistent power and more mid-high rpm torque. Faster spool too.

Broke my Apex Motorsports Downpipe WTF!

Are all your aftermarket exhausts attached at the transmission as well, just like the stock exhaust was? If not, the flex from the motor moving is being absorbed by the exhaust manifold and downpipe, and over time, weakening it and breaking it. If it's not attached here, go get a bracket made...
