It seems to be very rare for the NA engines. I don't think I have seen any owner on this forum report the cracked head issue with the 2.5 NA engine. Seems to be a lot of issues with the turbo engines from what I can gather.

I read on Techron's site, that to use it about every oil change if you don't use top tier gas. I'll try it shortly and then in another six months.

I had to attend a meeting after that so just too many things going on.

The dealer was quoting me around $75 for the throttle body service.

I usually fill up gas at BJs, but I don't think they are considered top tier gas.
