    Hands on Wheel Warning

And it worked! Apparently when the manual says 'sensitivity', they really mean 'threshold'. Setting the Cancel Sensitivity to low seems to have cured my problem. I made the same trip from Michigan to Iowa and back again, and the only time I got a HOW warning was when I was scratching an itch...

    2017~2025 Fuel Grade

This should help make the octane question clear as mud: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparison-feature/a28565486/honda-cr-v-vs-bmw-m5-ford-f-150-dodge-charger/

    More Aggressive 19 Inch Tires?

No, theyd increase ground clearance by about 0.2 inch. If you want something that will easily accommodate 50 mm of ride height increase, Id say you should be looking at a Toyota Prado.

    More Aggressive 19 Inch Tires?

Theyre close. Either one will be about 10 mm taller overall (5 mm taller in radius). Theyll rave revs/km ratings that are within 3-4 (out of 448) of your stock tires.

    Anyone running 245f/275r tires?

Thank you for catering to my anal retentiveness.

    Anyone running 245f/275r tires?

God bless you. I was just reading some of my old threads, and remembering explaining to people that just because some idiot said that you cant put anything wider than a 225- width tire on a 7 wide wheel, doesnt make it true. Anyway... I doubt youd have any problems with that setup, fit-wise...

    Anyone running 245f/275r tires?

No idea on the fuel economy question, but Id suggest comparing the revs/mile rating of your front and rear tires and not trusting the number some online calculator spits out.

    More Aggressive 19 Inch Tires?

If you want to keep the stock wheels, it basically means that you're going to have to use a 235/55R19. I only see one tire marketed as off-road in that size available in the US, and it's fairly expensive compared to other options. There are a few options marketed as highway all-season that...

    More Aggressive 19 Inch Tires?

Are you open to the idea of using a smaller wheel? Youll find a lot more options for off-road tires in a 235/60R18 or a 235/65R17.

    More Aggressive 19 Inch Tires?

Please clarify more aggressive. You want traction on pavement? Or you want to go off-roading?

Does the TPMS alert say which tire is low?

Hell, Im just glad systems have moved beyond the one on my 2007 RAV4. A hundred bucks to reprogram the system if you wanted to change wheels? Woof...

Does the TPMS alert say which tire is low?

The problem with individual readings is that whenever you rotate tires or swap out winter/summer sets, you need to reprogram the wheel positions.

    2017~2025 Infotainment Clouds?

Ive noticed that album art for whatever is currently playing will sometimes appear as a very dim, washed-out background on the screen. It ends up looking more like texture than the original picture. Could this be what youre seeing?

    Hands on Wheel Warning

The lane keeping feels like running along lightly rutted pavement. It will nudge you back into a lane, not jerk the wheel out of your hand.

    Hands on Wheel Warning

I assume you mean 3 and 9? Do you have any real information to support this? Having worked on GMs Super Cruise system, I know a few things about hands on wheel detection. I figured that Mazda at least uses a torque sensor, since its pretty much the simplest detection method. I also figured that...

Beeping sound whilst driving. About 20-30 seconds.

My 6 used to do this if I had my cell phone plugged in to charge and lying on the passenger seat. I actually had a contact at Takata (who made the occupant sensors) and made a bug report. I bet they had bigger fish to fry, and it never went anywhere...

    One week sitting prep?

I used to park my car at the airport for three weeks, come home for a weekend, then park it for another two weeks. One week is no problem.
