If you are handy, you can get a battery tester and test your battery yourself. I use this one. It is a great tool to own. Load Tester I had gotten a computerized battery tester but it didn't test the battery very good, I returned it.

My guess is that the shop that said the battery was bad messed up the test. Ask them to do the test again, if they will test it for free. Does the starter motor turn the engine fast when you hit the start button, or does it turn over slowly?

The CX-5 is not a truck, like others said, it is more like a car that goes good in bad conditions on pavement. But hitting manholes or potholes fast will put any car or truck out of alignment.

That is unusual for any car. Usually one would feel suspension issues and their tire would wear badly long before the ball joint would separate and the wheel buckle over. That must have been very scary.

It is best to just use a gasket, I think the Permatex exhaust sealer cures into a tough glue that will be hard to get off next time.

Worked on making a tow hook with bolts and spare parts. I think I will put a loop on the long one. The short one won't work in the front. I figure the front one would only need to handle about 500 pounds of pull to get a CX-5 up a tilted flatbed tow truck.
