I'm not sure that's true. I think they all have it.

2007 CX9 GT model AWD not working??

If that's the case, then you should have yours looked at, as well.

2007 CX9 GT model AWD not working??

If I had to guess (maybe a little better than a guess), I'd say you have a bad transfer case. Hopefully, the thing's still within drivetrain warranty; otherwise, it's a $6,000-7,000 repair with labor. I would let Mazda diagnose it, warranty or not.

    It's Lowered

Props to you for the effort. Yet, I don't see the drop as 2", I'm hard pressed to see it at all. It would have been nice to take objective measures before and after. For that kind of money and labor, I'd be looking for a more aggressive drop. At the end of the day, it's your ride, and if you're...

    Engine Coolant Odor Present

You might get more information on the CX-7 thread, though there are also folks here in the CX-9 thread experiencing similar issues.

    big hit in depreciation

100% true. I bought my 2008 CX-9 in April, 2008 and by July, 2008 it was possible to get another $5k off sticker of the same vehicle. These fire sale techniques destroy resale. Why buy a used one when the cost of a new one ends up being a stone's throw away. Folks talk and reason the issue...

    stalling issue

Possibly ask them to program the ECU. The program currently on the unit could have somehow lost a portion of its programming. That could affect anything from fuel injectors to the solenoid controlling idle while A/C is operating. Really, could be any of a number of things. Hopefully, it will...

    Purchasing a CX-9

Prepare to fork out abut $1,200 for the Michelins, about $800 for the Yokohamas. Bang for the buck goes to the Parada.

    Transfer Case - 4WD Issues

Your dealer is right on the money. Several folks on this site and Edmunds have experienced the issue. You're like the fourth or fifth case of the exact same issue. Your transfer case is bad from the factory. That's why you're spinning on two wheels. Let the dealer do their job. From what I've...

    Yokohama Tires

No, it's not a dedicated snow tire, it's a mud/snow (M/S) configuration, though I think all the M/S tires carry a mountain emblem. It's not a miracle tire when the weather dictates dedicated snows or chains. It is, however, the best all-season tire out there right now in the original equipment...

    Interior Brushed Metal

Not true. The transmission temp control module TSB and several others are not listed. It's a pretty good compilation, but in no way is it complete.

Anyone add the tranny cooling kit for towing?

Considering that the factory package is rated for only 3500#, I don't see how you can not add an aftermarket trans cooler. As is, your ride is rated to pull 2000#. You don't want to know the cost to replace a transmission or transfer case for the CX-9. If nothing else, consider the cooler cheap...

    CX-9 Owner from Europe

Before you go that far, look into Hawk Performance brake pads. Some of their applications are far superior than the factory pad. That said, are you sure there isn't a specific issue with the brakes on your CX-9? The brakes on mine are very good, and others might agree. Are you having a problem...

Did they offer Galaxy Gray Mica in 2009?

Not possible at all. You're not going to find an '09 Galaxy Grey, these are most certainly '08's. I've NEVER seen a vehicle manufacturer offer a discontinued color simply because they had some of the paint color left over, even in the 15 years I worked for one. The notion is ludicrous. If such...

3 finalists to replace the Duellers

Out of curiosity, what is Toyota using as the OEM tires in this size? And FWIW, Mazda nav has a calibration function to compensate for non-OEM sizes, it should probably be run after each tire changeover, no matter what the size.

    Vibrating driver side mirror?

You know, I love Mazda vehicles, but the one thing they can learn from Toyota and Honda is how to design a vibration-free mirror glass. Mine's not that bad either, but every other vehicle I've driven in the last 10-12 years had steady mirror glass through the entire rpm range and in all wind...

    Smart Key and Trip Computer

I guess they hold back on selling points that can nurse a particular model/platform thrugh its second, third, and fourth year. Toyota is notorious for that type of mentality. In the second model year, they upgraded the engine, and in the third year they activate the trip computer. I wonder what...

    CX9 NAV system

No doubt, the nav in the '08 CX-9 sucks, whether we're discussing resolution, graphics, interface, or routing. The nav in my '09 Honda Fit Sport rings circles around the Mazda denso unit, and even in that case, I got the nav because it was bundled with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and...
