When we replaced shock/struts on our 2008, I went with Gas A Just rears and the KYB GR2 front struts. Much improved ride. I did the rear myself and had a trusted shop do the fronts since it would have likely taken me all weekend.

Do you know what replacement shocks you're going with yet? Going for OEM replacement or performance? How are your front struts?

I've replaced rear brake pads on a Mazda5 twice before. The trick I found to getting the rear pistons in is to twist them fully out first then, while pushing at the same time as you're twisting, they should go back in so you can load your new rear brake pads.

Why even bother buying new, wider rims if you're going to use the same OEM tires instead of new, better, wider rubber? Seems like a missed opportunity.

Are they all breaking on the same side of the car? What brand of links are being used to replace? How do your front stabilizer bushings look? Is your stabilizer bar stock or upgraded?

What are the specs of these Evo wheels? Diameter? Offset? What type and size tires are you running? Got any pics of the whole car? Before and after the Evo rims? Unless you have a Brembo brake kit on your Mazda5, the photo below is not of your vehicle.
