this thing is being neglected currently.. life is busy.. it's oil change time, and has been for a couple of months. Because of the oil burning issue, i haven't been driving it. I will wait until i have proper time to do the oil change before I start driving it again.

speed 3 seats ARE WAY BETTER than p5 on every level. aesthetics and comfort. one bracket needs to be drilled off the old sliders and welded to the speed 3 sliders.

your insurance will also be more for a msp. this^^^

they're the same from the mazda 3 and the speed 3 as far as the rails. yes one bracket needs to be pulled off the protege rails and put on the speed 3 or mazda 3 seat to fit. I searched a thread on here but i'll have to find it again. and, if i have time ill do a write up when i do my own seats.

the front seats fit with minor mods to 1 bracket. the rear seats will fit i believe as well, with some mods.

there is a lot of info on this forum regarding this "swap".. it's easy, especially if you're doing engine and trans at the same time. The transmissions are identical except that the msp has an LSD. The engines are identical(as long as we are talking 2.0-2.0) except for the turbo, windage tray...

Hi-boost turboed MP3- very nice. I love the cars, they have an endless look to them. I want to continue doing what I can for this platform... we shall see.
