Actually, there are two listed intervals. 7500 is the standard and 5k is for heavy duty. I do 5k just for peace of mind (of course the dealer sets the interval at 5k - my oil service display starts at 5k and counts down- as they want more service business). I am sure 7500 would work just as...
I wish I had your dealership close by. I got another quote at an indie Japanese specialist. They want 299 for the job. If I was out of warranty I would do it myself, but I want a record of it being done.
It would be awesome for sure, but I don't think Mazda has the pockets to handle this anymore. They are having to team up with other carmakers (Toyota) to survive.
But what was the sales price? It should tell you exactly what you paid for the car (before the dealer fees and taxes) on your sales contract. You didn't pay MSRP, I hope....
I would have the transmission fluid changed. I am currently getting numbers on it from local shops. Dealer quoted 410 which seems very high to me. A '22 shouldn't need much else done.
Has anyone had a transmission fluid service done recently? I asked my dealer, who told me it wasn’t needed until 150k. I thought that sounded ridiculous and asked how much it would be anyway. $410 was the quote I received, which seems very high. I paid $275 at the Nissan dealer for my 2020...
You said OTD which includes fees and taxes. What was the price of the car before the fees were added? This would be a lot more helpful to folks in other places as fees vary widely from state to state.
Way cheaper than a Signature model here (which I would assume the Akera is equivalent to). Truecar is a website used in the US to see what a particular car is selling for in your area. A '24 Signature has an MSRP of ~42k and is selling for 40,500 right now.
It should be that easy, but several have posted that the dealers are still wanting to do oil consumption testing. Maybe if they are pushed to call Mazda tech service they will understand this isn't needed.
My 21 has an occasional clicking from the steering column (known issue) and from the center of the dash around the infotainment screen. Nothing unusual to me. All my cars have some noises from time to time. With all the flexing and bumps, its unavoidable.
As others have said, at 4-5yrs, the battery needs to be replaced (especially with Canadian winters). See if the dealer will spot you one, or just pick one up yourself. Then you will know for sure if that is the issue.
Yep- how the CX-70 was greenlighted is beyond me. If they would have produced what was expected, a shorter 2-row version of the CX-90, they would have hit a home run IMHO.
That is concerning. You had no low oil light on your dash? Was the oil actually low when you checked it? I actually just checked mine a couple of days ago. I am at 28k (3k since my last oil change) and it is still full.
