    Which brand air filter?

Not sure what you mean. I don't particular care about any brand of my filters but what guys said about makes sense. I've provided two links above are for changing both, air and cabin air filters. Cabin air filter even matters less to me then engine one, any brand will do. I just buy lowest...

    Which brand air filter?

    - It depends, check every 6 month to a year and see how it goes, I'd replace every 2 years at most, but your driving area can make a big difference. Easy, Private: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lLHVyPvTX0 Since you are at it, cabin air filer is way more "fun" to do. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFru88RczyI

Factory reverse cam with Aftermarket HU

(iagree) I've not seen any on the road yet with stock backup camera. Mandatory cameras laws came into affect after production stopped and few buy high end. Just figure out yourself what the wiring is. Cut the cable going into the camera and find what they do with a multimeter, unfortunately I...

    Axle issues after curb hit

Sorry, can't see it on the video, in person inspection results might be different. You can just replace the hub as it is a complete assembly anyway, so comes with all parts already. https://www.ebay.com/itm/130946600815 This way you get all the parts new and not have to worry about it.

Painting the grey interior pillars to black

I've painted my headliner black before in a truck, worked out ok. Just used headliner spay can paint while it was removed from the car. For a Mazda size liner, probably need 4-5 cans. You can also buy new black headliner material and re-upholster it as an alternative.

    Axle issues after curb hit

I'm not sure it is a problem at all. Nothing is holding the rotor until you put the nuts on it, so it hitting studs in a not issue as this is what one would expect if the rotor is not fused to the hub due to the rust. Right now the pads are holding the rotor ever so slightly and you get what you...

2010 Mazda5 sliding door wont close flush with the body on the rear of the door...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wlj_wGq5mds This is for 2012 but I don't see it being too different from 2010 as most changes were mostly cosmetic.

The 100K (Mile or Kilometer) Mazda5 Club

I know RP people need money to run their race cars, but you might be donating too much towards their cause. Every year or two should be fine if you are using expensive stuff like this. You may add up your costs over the span and it would be cheaper just to swap a new tranny in at the failure...

    Quarter Glass

Take out the old one and assist what you really need. Most windows simply glue into place and the rest is trim pieces. Since you don't need yours already, poke at is till you see what it takes to cut it out, so you will know what to put back.

Cv joint - axles - driveshaft leak - please help

Funny funny, was it driver or passenger side? I was doing oil change this weekend as well at 140k km (87k miles) and found the same, looks like grease started to come out around that shaft on the driver side axel. I could not find a crack in the boot, so wonder if the clamp gave out.... I...

    Exhaust

Interesting and I can see as wrong car choice for a build :) Putting money into upgrades that devalue the car with no resale market after the fact.... Would be most fun changing that cash into $1 bills and setting a nice fire. I'm sooo optimistic (wrc) ahhahaha.

    Exhaust

Nope. They way I see it, they are a waste of money especially for this car. Technically stock should never rust as it is stainless steal, so forever it will remain stock on mine :) At least will see how long forever lasts.

    100k Miles cost of ownership

Not bad at all. I got mine used, rebuilt, with 10k on it at the time of purchase. I'm about 10k behind you in miles but did not keep costs. Same number of oil changes, two extra tranny flashes and same deal with number of tires changes. Also did front and back brakes, not just front like you and...

Cv joint - axles - driveshaft leak - please help

One would think LA climate would be gentle on cars. Mine is the same year, around 87k miles and so far zero repairs. Cut boot can be anything from road derby or rodents to bad parts, seems a little off given the location. Hope you get it repaired reasonably easy and get it back on the road.
