    Mazda CX-9 2017 Floor Vibration

My 2016 has been vibrating for a while. After numerous balances that didn't fix it, Mazda replaced the tires and drive shaft abs the shake is still there. Not as bad as it once was, but at highway speeds there is a vibration. Looking to take it in again. Getting close to a lemon law suit if...

    2016 CX-9 Oil Consumption

Not leaking anything and not blowing blue smoke. I checked the oil level and it was about 1/3 from the bottom marker. The light that has come on is the indicator light with the oil can with a wavy line under it.

    2016 CX-9 Oil Consumption

On my 2016 CX-9 GT AWD, the "engine oil level warning indication" light came on. I have about 13,500 miles on the car, and was just about 5,000 since my last oil change. This does not seem right. Anyone else experience this?

2016 cx-9 grand touring highway speed vibration

I'm having the same problem!! I'm so happy I found your post. I created a subject in the 2016 CX-9 thread for wheel vibration. The shaking has been going on since we purchased the car in July. Since then, we have done several wheel balances (didn't work). Mazda replaced all 4 tires and the...

    2016 Mazda CX-9 Wheel Vibration

Not sure if they checked those. The problem is the vibration is intermittent. Doesn't happen all the time, and it's sometimes worse than other times. It's very frustrating. It feels like it's originating from the rear. I believe the next step might be to replace the rear diff to see if it's...

    2016 Mazda CX-9 Wheel Vibration

Vibration is back, so the drive shaft nor the tires are the culprit. Waiting for further diagnosis. Not feeling very confident at this point.

    vs Forester?

I have a 2015 Forester 2.5i Limited in my stable, along with a CX-9. We traded a CX-5 for the CX-9. The Forester has far more cargo and passenger space. Also superior visibility. Ther are no more plastics in the Forester than in the CX-5, except maybe the new 2017. My 2013 CX-5 had plenty of...

    vs Forester?

The CX-5 is built on the Mazda3 chassis and has the same wheel base. The Forester is built on the Impreza (2012-2016) platform. Even shares the same exact interior. Your statement is incorrect. They are both "crossover" vehicles build off of compact car chassis.

Saw a 2017 CX-5 at the dealer today...

Thank you for providing that information Your 2010 Jeep was actually a $45,000 vehicle new in 2010. So, a KBB trade value of $15,000 is 33%. The dealer gave you $17,000, with is about 37%. I think $17,000 for a 93,000 Jeep is strong money. That generation of Grand Cherokees (05-10) do well on...

    2016 Mazda CX-9 Wheel Vibration

Update: The dealer had my car while I was on vacation. They replaced all 4 tires and replaced the drive shaft propeller. So far, so good. Hopefully the issue has been corrected. My dealer has been extremely helpful during the process.

Saw a 2017 CX-5 at the dealer today...

Again, your 2015 CX-5 is 3 calendar years old (4 model years). Not 2. Care to share the MSRP, trim and options of your Jeep and trade value? What were the respective replacements of these said vehicles you mention? Were they new or pre-owned vehicles?

    Tire wear

Most Jeep SRT8 people complain about their tires being shot by 20K. For a near $70,000 vehicle, that has a lot of owners upset.

    Tire wear

Sounds about right. AWD vehicles eat tires more. Also, living in an area with twists and turns will escalate tire wear as well. personal driving habits also influence wear too.

Saw a 2017 CX-5 at the dealer today...

Your 2015 CX-5 is actually 3 years old, not 2. Also, what you were offered on trade is not what one can buy on for retail. Two completely different things. This past June, I got $14,000 for my 2013 CX-5 Touring AWD with 58,000. If you were just offered $13,000 for a 2015, you were lowballed...

Saw a 2017 CX-5 at the dealer today...

Do the math....thats not anywhere near 50% and below 50,000 miles. Remember, EBay has reserves and you don't know the history of the vehicle. CPO CX-5's have high price tags. Not that I buy on resale value, but credit must be given to Mazda for a vehicle that does have great resale value.

Saw a 2017 CX-5 at the dealer today...

Show me where a 2 year old Mazda CX-5 with 50k is half of what they were brand new....you cannot get a $30,000 CX-5 GT two years later with 50K on it for $15,000 retail. I traded my 4 year old CX-5 Touring AWD with 58K for $14,000 and paid $27,000 for it.

    2016 Mazda CX-9 Wheel Vibration

Update: My 2016 CX-9 is getting a new driveshaft and 4 new tires. After various tests conducted by my dealer with a Mazda field tech on hand, they believe the driveshaft was the culprit for the vibration. I hope this fixes it. My dealer has been outstanding through and through. I'll keep you...

Bought 2017 CX-5 Touring AWD! $1000 off MSRP. Dealers selling for above sticker?

I agree, budget withstanding. I traded my 2013 CX-5 Touring AWD w/moon & Bose and tech package for a 2016 CX-9 GT AWD. I had my eye on a 2016 CX-9 Touring w/Premium Package, but for the small jump in price, the GT with all safety features, HUD, and other items, I figured spending the extra...
