    Where Is Mazda Headed Next?

No, the CX-5 and Mazda3 share the same chassis. They share the same wheel base as at 106.3 in. The SKYACTIV chassis is multifunctional and fits all current SKYACTIV models.

    Where Is Mazda Headed Next?

The Mazda6 and Mazda3 already ride on the same chassis. The current gen Mazda6 was based off the Shinari concept that debuted in 2010. The next gen Mazda6 will not be RWD, or based off such platform. The first gen CX-5 was the first Mazda design that was a Kodo design. Not sure what you meant...

HUD / ADD - issue grrr...

Ive been noticing that the HUD does go into manual loads by itself and to the brightest setting. We have it on auto, but changes by itself. Same issue as the OP The gauge cluster dimmer is not linked to it, and neither are the keys or memory seat settings. Did anyone have any suggestions?

Just received New 2018 CX-9 Info from Dealer

Being around and being in are two different things. I hate real estate and that whole process. Buyers/sellers never meet and way too much behind the scenes nonsense. Correct, 100x worse.

Just received New 2018 CX-9 Info from Dealer

I can tell youve never worked in the car business. Its a very popular phrase, and yes, it happens where people do/have said they can get something elsewhere in hoping the dealer takes the deal. There are times where the dealer doesnt want to lose the sale after work has been invested into making...

2.5L Pushing Some Real Horses With OV Tune

Just a simple google of OV and there are many negative reviews of OV and their owner/tuner Matthew Wilson for false promises and faulty software. Hes not known for following through on his promises either. That company does not carry enough clout for me to ever invest in.

HUD / ADD - issue grrr...

Same here. One of my favorite features of the CX-9. I rarely look at my gauge cluster anymore, or my side view mirrors for blind spot detection. Its all in the HUD.

Just received New 2018 CX-9 Info from Dealer

And buyers are liars as they say in the trade. They lie on a trade value or price they received from another place to trick the dealer to not taking their offer. Whatever. In any event, not all dealers lie to make a sale. Not a fair statement. He could have gotten a salesman who didnt know...

50K+ Mile Owners - Intake Carbon Buildup

Higher octane fuel does not burn cleaner. There is no potential for more power with higher octane fuel unless the car was designed to run on it. Any grade above 87 is rated to avoid preignition due to engine compression (knock). BTW, I ran my 2013 CX-5 well past 50K before trading it for the...

    2017 CX 9 Customer Reviews

Cherry picking 2 vehicles out of an entire line up and using that claim that they are "leaps" ahead of Mazda does not support your argument. CR, who you sourced, had Kia one spot in front of Mazda. Looks more like "on par" to me.

    2017 CX 9 Customer Reviews

According to who? CR has Kia at #5 followed by Mazda at #6 and Hyundai at #7. That's not "leaps" ahead.

    2014 CX-5 Interior Rust

Lol. Then you don't know anyone with a Subaru. The 2015 Forester I have has rusted front seat bolts. Car has never been flooded, or windows left open in the rain. Manufacturers don't use stainless steel on components not exposed to the elements. So many factors that could attribute to...

The upgrades have been confirmed by Mazda in a press release. The value of such features is as always, based on personal preference. Variety and selection is king in the consumer market.

    1st Gen CX-9 versus 2nd Gen Cx-9

I guess when it comes to a near luxury vehicle, how much of what you get is really "needed"?

    1st Gen CX-9 versus 2nd Gen Cx-9

I have and do. Don't need the tilt mirrors to do it. You're right, to each their own. I had an issue with the deletion of the tilt feature in the driver seat and loss of cargo space. Those are my major complaints.

Just Bought a 2017 GT AWD - Love it but why such bad gas mileage?

That's an option on the Premium Plus. I happen to really like the virtual cockpit. I think Audi did a great job with it. I have read mixed reviews from others tho. Not to take away from the Q7, I think Audi did a really, really nice job with it. However, it's a true luxury SUV. The CX-9 is...

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

Wrong again. Please take my advise from another thread where I asked you to just stop talking about Mazda and SKYACTIV Technolgy. You know absolutely nothing about the SKYACTIV program. It was not built on "old technology". Do you know where the name comes from? Do you know how the program...

    1st Gen CX-9 versus 2nd Gen Cx-9

Ok, it matters to you and some others. I respect that. However, it doesn't to others, such as me. Gen 1 is missing many features that by today's standard is unacceptable. Most importantly to me, is was rated bottom of the class by the IIHS in safety. Something that's a huge concern to me...
