    March sales, no surprise

Thanks! I keep forgetting about the myriad Mazda websites. I wonder how they get this data aggregated and out so quickly??? And this is the exact same format as Marklines.

I think they would be grateful for the work. But I know what you're saying.

    March sales, no surprise

I've probably asked this before but failed to bookmark it...where are you getting this data so soon in the month? I use https://www.marklines.com/ and https://carsalesbase.com Neither has anything for March yet.

    March sales, no surprise

So depressing. My dealer has put a few folks on furlough. They have 2 mechanics who they are holding on to as long as they can afford it...doing "busy work" for now. I can find nothing about aggregate US car sales for last month. May be too early for all the numbers to roll in. So many...

Off Topic What's the last worst looking car you've seen?

Yeh, my dad got his used. The back of the rear seat had a cheap little keyslot on it that unlocked the seatback. It folded down and you were in the trunk from inside the passenger compartment. I don't believe the trunk had an exterior door. Or maybe some years/models did.

Car Seat Question about 2020 CX-5

This is why I don't have kids.

Off Topic What's the last worst looking car you've seen?

Great little cars. They have what I believe to be the same engines as my '59 Sprite...cast iron block 948 cc. Except the Nash was transverse mounted/FWD. I know some of the dash switches were the same (like the ignition switch being in the center of the knurled Bakelite knob that controlled...

Off Topic What's the last worst looking car you've seen?

I don't have a pic, and I'm ashamed that this is in my genes. I really should create a different account to post this... The last worst looking car I've seen was my father's Nash Metropolitan (the guy had 3 of them, a hard top and 2 rag tops.) We're talking mid-60s when he did this. This is...

Why not save $600 and just buy one roll? ;)

Car Seat Question about 2020 CX-5

That's actually great advice, GTA. Here in the states, local police departments have Car Seat Days where they not only give away car seats to those who cannot afford them, they help with the install and adjustment for anyone who asks. >People could stop by their local police department and ask...

Car Seat Question about 2020 CX-5

I believe he's decided to buy the Sig. He's just trying to get ahead of a possible car seat issue he can't directly test right now due to life circumstances.

    How you doing?

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate, GTA-CX9. I think all of us are feeling the frustration of having the free time we've wished for but being on House Arrest. Virginia is on lock-down until June 10!!! Things work out, just not always how we planned, huh? This, too, shall pass.

Sirius XM issues on a 2019 CX-5 GT

I prematurely posted that the upgrade fixed my Voice Recognition issue (at least on XM.) It did not. It really got better at first...worked 100% of the time I tried it for several days. But now I occasionally have the same issue as before. I cannot speak to relative rates of failure because...

Dangerous cylinder deactivation trouble on 2018 CX-5 and Mazda6 models

No. All's been quiet with the CD engines since the updates.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

I agree, concealed wiring always looks less "cobbled." And one wonders the value of that timeout in the world of LEDs.

    How you doing?

Glad you're surviving, 7. Glad your son was able to make friends. That will give him confidence to not be afraid of making changes in the future, even if the virus has disrupted the experience. Regarding WFH, I worked for a government contractor who cut back on their real estate footprint in...

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Just to throw this out for you, others have added LED strips (with On/Off switches) back there plugged into the Always Hot 12v outlet. I don't know if your year has such an outlet, but this would be a much easier install. I've not done any of this (except for swapping out the hatch door light)...

Taking my car in for its first service, they will check tranny fluid but not top off if low

Thanks for posting that. Looks like I need to get some shallow sockets. I wonder if my auto parts store is open...we're under "Stay-at-Home" here until June 10. o_O Time to check out Amazon. The loss of legacy pics is a little frustrating. I've been saving links to How To threads since I...

Bonus points for showing a Varrstoen box in the pic! eta: Until I get fish, I'll play with the critters here: Just took this 5 minutes ago through my bedroom window, so it's not in focus. He had his groupies right behind him. It's that time of year.

Taking my car in for its first service, they will check tranny fluid but not top off if low

Really?? Is this another "Possibly low from the factory" thing? I guess as long as I have it up on ramps so that it's level for the tranny fluid check, it's in position to check the rear diff fluid.
