Looking forwars to my new 6

Congrats, Joe! You'll love it. The new interior on the 16 plus is fantastic. Additionally, the new LED accent treatment to the front end is wonderful. Great enhancements to an already exceptional automobile. Let us know how you're enjoying it, as you take ownership!

HELP!!!! My wife wants Titanium Flash and I want Black!!!!

I'll never own another black car. That TF color is sweet though. Not many colors similar to that one out on the road.

    Mazda Extended Confidence Plan

This is the smartest option. I also suggest performing alot of your own maintenance and repairs, if able. I've purchased multiple high dollar, third party extended service plans and they have NOT ONCE paid off. In fact, not a single time did I file a repair claim on those policies, which was...

Drove the cx-3. We are buying one

They're pretty slick. How does its interior and cargo space stack up against the Mazda 3 hatch, @Kojack?

    What's in store for the '17 CX-5?

That IS a 14 plus Mazda 3 interior...

    What's in store for the '17 CX-5?

No, I suppose not. The redesigned interior in the 16 plus MZ6 is just fantastic. Looks great overall. This, however... Looks a little too out-in-the-open.

    What's in store for the '17 CX-5?

Unusual you say that... Seems most people think the bizarre, stationary, "divorced" display panel in the 3 and now in the 6 looks like an afterthought. It looks awkward as hell, and I wish it'd retract, like it does in some Audi models. Also, the HUD seems a little unfinished. Like a novelty...

    What's in store for the '17 CX-5?

I was anticipating this senseless response. Exterior dimensions mean nothing. The SHO/Taurus is gargantuan on its exterior, but is literally just short of cramped on its interior. Offers quite a bit of volume in the trunk, but has a small opening, making it mostly useless. I own both a 15...

    2016 CX-5 vibration/shaking when exiting left turn

Road surfaces can be sneaky. May not look overly textured or rumpled by appearance, but road imperfections seem to transfer a little more noticeably into the cabin and steering of Mazda's vehicles. Least ways, they seem to in my experience. Sounds plausible, seeing as you were unable to...

Mazda Has Already Sold a Million CX-5s

The market is a tad more competitive now, but back in March of 12, it was an easy sell for wife and I. Good to see the model is staying competitive. Mazda has done a well enough job, making critical updates to trim and options. The 16 model year plus now looks better than ever! XD

    What's in store for the '17 CX-5?

If Mazda doesn't intend on resurrecting the CX-7, the CX-5 needs to grow a tad. Otherwise, the Mazda 3, CX-5 and CX-3 are all too close in proportion. I don't know if 17 model year calls for a new cycle. Just saying...when that time arrives, that'd be a welcome change.

Mazda CX-5 2015 sitting unused for months

I don't think they're wrong. I just don't think 3 to 6 months will do it. Maybe a year plus...

Mazda CX-5 2015 sitting unused for months

Fuel stabilizer, as mentioned. Make certain it is stored where rodents will not nest in the vehicle. Leave the existing oil, but change it when you return, before you begin driving it. 3-6 months won't permanently flat spot your tires. That's about it.

Fit and finish on new cx-5

I tend to subscribe to this logic, especially when comparing to automotive production from years past. Modern production doesn't tax resources in the same way it did 50 years ago. Now, there's regulatory oversight which requires legions more engineers and R&D, continously attempting to improve...

    Axle shaft bearing

I've seen a few go bad on the Mazda6, based on forum owner reporting. But, seems like a low failure rate, so definitely smart to proceed with caution, in regards to replacing it. But if you've ruled out wheel bearing, sounds like sound troubleshooting.

Pros and cons of the CX-5

For some reason, it hadn't really occured to me... There really should be a third option for interior color. I love the Almond interior. But, it is an impractical choice for many auto buyers. And the only other choice is...black. Yawn. It would indeed be nice to see gray or perhaps something...

Fit and finish on new cx-5

Fit and finish on new cx-5

Are there many repeat Mazda buyers here? I'm on my third new Mazda (2nd Skyactiv/post FoMoCo), and while their initial quality, namely fit and finish, hasn't been perfect, my experience has been quite good. Compared to other budget auto makers, and especially my Ford, I'd rate Mazda marginally...

    You Gotta Be Kidding Me!!!!

If it's too much trouble to perform your own maintenance, you can attempt to find a service center that will service with oil that you provide. Typically, they'll gladly use a filter you provide, if you buy their oil. But supplying both an oil and filter, or just the oil, they generally won't...
