Cheap Japanese battery? The Japanese battery in my Lexus IS is nearly 8 years old, no prob.
The battery in my previous Ford Explorer (which was same model year as Lexus) lasted 4 years, pos.
At this point I should stay out of the religion/politics discussion, lol. Or the one about changing oil every 3K miles in order to "feel good", since I have found other more healthy and productive ways to feel good.
Certainly the actual Mazda5 example above and my neighbor's actual occurance...
Is the i-stop thing worth the trouble (fuel-savings-wise I hope), considering the extra vibration, etc. I drove a Mercedes CLA250 with it and wasn't impressed, but maybe the fuel savings justifies it.....
We've seen people compain about 3 things with remote starts (dealer-installed/aftermarket, because Mazda doesn't offer it for good reason):
. Poor gas mileage (Yes we know it shouldn't be surprise, but the complaints happen. And agreed, why pay for the thing if not going to use it)

fyi - In US, Auto Trader shows over a dozen of these 95 Ram 1500s offered for sale with mileage ranging from 203K-362K and being offered for sale for $1K to $6K. Wholesaled first most likely, more profit to be exploited at retail level later for these durable trucks. Cheapest one is riddled...

Bake-in the trade-in**, 3rd party high-profit extended warranties, the supposed tint, now it's all coming together as nice profit margin in total.
** Watch Craigslist in next few weeks, might find it for sale at $5K, no kidding.
I've seen this shortcut measure on moonroof as a cost-savings measure back on the 2001 Toyota Rav4.
But unlike the premium brand versions of compact SUV's (Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jag) the CX-5 is sold in the US market for much more attractively affordable prices. So I'm not surprised by the...
Exactly, and why the CX-5 is a good selection in this competitive class of compact crossover SUV's. Selecting the right used vehicle carefully and the usual guidelines still apply of course.
Good choice of tires if ride comfort and noise levels are top consideration.
I put 30K miles on 2013 GT awd w/Toyo 19's and experienced very good results with low noise levels. A majority of my freeway cruising is done at speeds of 70-80mph here in CA.
