That's what happened with the Mk1, lots of squeaks and rattles, vibrating mirrors and hoods, see all the TSB's for them. No rattles etc on my 3 year old 2015 car. I did have one, it was a pen in the centre console.

No buy a Tig with the items as standard. You pay extra for options.

I believe modern cars with turbos no longer require a cool down period, I don't with my diesel, and I do know my last Xtrail had a pump that would run after shut down to cool the turbo. Last time i cooled a turbo was in 1999 with a 1.8T audi.

There's recently been a lot of recalls for various issues, Brake vacuum pump checks, some needed changing, injector seals to check, and a few others, my 2015 car just had a PCM reflash, something about preventing the engine stalling. do your self a favour and by the 2.5T instead.

To be honest I don't hear any more quality of sound between FM or DAB, I do use DAB at home mainly to listen to magic or smooth.

I find the FM is 100% reliable for reception, while DAB is a waste of time constantly retuning. If I get fed up with radio I have options of CD, BT, or USB. And yes I don't mind watching black and white TV, that's all we had when I was a kid. You forget its b/w if its a good film.

The recall for mine was just a reflash, car runs the same.

Some cameras interfere with the dab signal, try removing the power from the camera to check . I prefer FM anyway.

Skinny tyres are better in snow, 225 is enough, Xtrail was great all round with 215 especially in snow. And skinny tyres create less road noise, I noticed that when I tested the Tiguan, one version on 245 was a lot noisier than the 235 I've opted for (235/50/19)
