Hi all, just curious if all of you experience the same clicking noise while parking.
When shifting from D to R or vice versa and you ease off the brakes and re-apply them, there is always a clicking noise. Maybe could be the shifter lock/unlock sound. thx!
matter of preference, for some $2k is too much for what you're getting on the SIG compared to the GT-R. I like all the bells and whistles and $2k for me was worth the premium over the GT-R model. not to mention we get the snazzy SG badge..haha
thanks for the explanation, it was pretty thorough...so i guess the big picture is that it's normal and we shouldn't really be concerned with it, the tech probably can't do much about it anyways.
seems like he was an advocate for mazda and some mis-step happened and now he's all fed up...
still a great car..we have 3 in the family and plan on upgrading as new models are introduced.
dang i stopped using the mazda NAV long time ago since getting carplay, however the factory navigation is still a lot better than some of the ones i've used from other manufacturers. Have you tried entering in State first instead of Zip? i never entered zipcode before, only state -> city ->...
once i read this post, i now cannot unsee the dang reflection..thanks man! haha
but in all honestly yes definitely an issue with the taller drivers, i would have to play with the seat adjustments so i can unsee this reflection now..also another option could be to fold the sun visors all the...
Yes and is the reason why the mazda system is not as useful as the aftermarket where the engine does not turn off upon opening the door. Also a major + that you can remote start with the OEM keyfob with the compustar system
this would be the system to get for compustar, comes with wiring harness for easy install

had dronemobile installed as well. SOOO much better than the Mazda remote start that i had on my previous car.
i drove the lexus RX-L with lane centering on a long drive down from RI, and honestly didn't like it,
You definitely feel the steering torque trying to center the car even though you think you are centered.
I like the LKA on the mazda better as it is non intrusive and only kicks in when you...
yeah but that one instance where a truck happens to go by thinking it cleared your unfolded mirrors and rips it away, is when you realize, i should've folded the mirrors.
-the current gen has a much better interior quality than the previous one you're getting rid of.
- 2014 looking better than the current gen? that's highly speculative....just like i'm sure everyone thinks their kids are the cutest..
i find using carplay or the phone's mapping app much easier than using the car's factory navigation system.
only thing that would make it better, is if the directions on carplay showed up on HUD.
But this might not be too far behind.
add the Panoroof already. I don't care if it takes a hit on performance. I'm sure i'll never feel the difference anyways, not like i'm driving the car to it's limits. Make it an option so potential customers can pick and choose.
btw OP you just opened up a big can of worms...everyone has...
so, i usually only do stop and go short distance drives with my cx-5,
The other day i was driving for over 30min (oh yeah!), and the noise disappears..
the next day it's back. Definitely seems like it has something to do with the engine's temp.
the funny thing is, it seems like only the Turbo owners are experiencing this noise.
When outside the car, you do hear a ticking noise, which is normal but i never heard this kind of noise on my previous cars from the inside.
