if they like the color get it, and just like any investments, protect it. Many would recommended 3M ppf, but if you can find an installer, go with Autoflex Spray shield.
yup..it was deemed too distracting which is odd, because a lot of other car manufacturers offer this along with radio station channels..so...hmmmm i wish there was a way to reactivate it..
so it seems that the when the current gen cx-9 was debuted,
it actually had a tachometer on the HUD.
does anyone still have this? or was it deleted after a firmware update?
seeing that Driving gear selection is displayed on this video, i'm guessing in manual mode the numbered Gear selection will be displayed, which is pretty cool.
Unless! they show the radio station channel on the HUD whenever it's changed, now that would be great! so they can still keep the HUD info minimal but have the ability to display the channels.
What would be nice is if the radio station channel shows up regardless of what screen you are in, especially when pressing the preset buttons on the steering wheel, that would really help, wonder if that is implemented on the new Gen infotainment on the mazda3 and cx-30?
i hope you know how to set your presets (favorites) now. =) It's imperative, as when connecting CP or AA the radio stops playing, so all you have to do is hit favorites and select radio station.
your storage bin is way too low, it needs to be about 42" tall at least,
so the camera and the front sensor can see it. I have done this test with an empty box, works everytime, remember the braking is an emergency maneuver so it won't be smooth.
not to mention some cars, the fog lights turn on, on the turning side while the other one is off, making it seem like you have busted fog lights...it's very strange...thank goodness for Mazdas design team =)
The BSM indicators on the HUD is great, it would be nice if RPM and turn signal indicators were on there as well...any more than that, i think it'll look very cluttered.
i'm sure mazda is well aware they are losing some sales over the lack of panoroof. I've had one in my sante fe turbo, and loved it. But then again, there are drivers who also say, why would anyone need a panoroof? and would just opt for no moonroof all together. To me, if Mazda is going...
you definitely have some valid points. I too am waiting on panoroof for mazda for years!! and at this point, i don't care if it diminishes the performance of the car.. high performance manufacturers ie bmw and benz have them, and i don't think it handles any less. Give us the Pano!
i thought i would like this function, i tried it on the Lexus RX on a long drive from RI to NY and found it more of a nuisance than a driving aid. Mazda's Dave Coleman was right when he explained having lane centering will diminish your connection and drive-ability to the road and hence why...
although the Rav4 designs have improved, the main reasons I got a Mazda was the fun drive-ability and it's design. The cx-5 could use better MPG of course, but it's good enough and the joy of driving makes up for it. Hoping Mazda also comes out with a hybrid version soon.
