New CX-9, All Good...Except the seats

I have been waiting for this color for a long time. They only had 3 in California and my dealer did a trade to get it.

New CX-9, All Good...Except the seats

Just picked up a new 2021 Signature Soul Crystal Red with the parchment interior. I traded my 2016 signature and I can tell you the seats on my 2021 are so much better. I was never a fan of my 2016 seats.

Guide 2nd Generation CX-9: Aftermarket oil catch can installation

I have had my Cork Sport OCC on for about 6 months. Does anyone have a problem with odor after the install of the Cork Sport OCC?

    Any issues with the CX-30?

Thanks for the input. The dealer is getting a 2021 premium AWD later this week and I am going to take a test drive.

    Any issues with the CX-30?

I have a 2016 CX-9 Sig and love it. Has anyone experienced any issues with their CX-30? I am looking at picking up either the 2021 premium or the new turbo when it comes out.

    Are *all* CX-9 Signatures AWD?

All the Signatures are AWD. My 2016 is AWD but does not have the badge on the back.

Guide 2nd Generation CX-9: Aftermarket oil catch can installation

I installed the Cork Sport OCC a couple of months ago. Then drove it on a 600 mile trip. I drained at least 3 ounces of liquid out of the can. I don't drive the car much so I can't tell you anything past that point. When I get to 1000 miles I will check again. I do agree that the permanent...

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

The gen4 is in the 2019-2020 but I am thinking most of the tuners will start working on the Mazda 3 when it comes out because that will be the biggest bang for the buck.

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

I talked To Daniel from DR Tuning Friday and he told me that he has abandoned tuning work on the 2016-2018 2.5T because it uses the gen3 computer and only deals with the CX-9 and the 2018 Mazda 6. So he is going to start working on the gen4 computer which covers more platforms which will with...

Clear bra paint protection film for CX-9?

I had my 2016 done when the car was new and it cost $1100.00. Since mine was done almost 4 years ago I think $1200.00 is reasonable.

Guide 2nd Generation CX-9: Aftermarket oil catch can installation

I know this thread been going on for a couple of years but I bought the Cork Sport OCC 4 months ago or so and I am just getting around to installing it. I was talking to CX9-guy and he said the bracket didn't fit on the CX-9. He addressed it to Cork Sport but they don't have a fix. They did take...

    Brake caliper interchangeability

Brakes can makes noise for many different reasons. Excess brake dust can be one or hot spots or grooving in the rotors. Also make sure you have grease between the shims and brake pad. If the piston in the caliper was worn to the point of seizing you would have stopping issues. If your brakes are...

    Brake caliper interchangeability

I wouldn't try anything from another manufacturer. Check out www.brakeperformance.com. They have calipers for your CX-9 and you can even get them powder coated in 8 different colors.

Cold Air Intake / 2016-2019 CX-9, same engine bay?

When I got my cat back one of the exhaust hangers wasn't positioned in the right spot. Cork Sport shipped me a new system but I didn't put the mid-pipe back on because it was too loud for the CX-9 I liked the performance when the Cork Sport mid-pipe on because the turbo spooled faster but when...

Cold Air Intake / 2016-2019 CX-9, same engine bay?

I did do the Cork Sport axle back and I think it is perfect. I bought the first one out of the gate that was the turbo back. The turbo did spool faster but it was as loud as my 08 speed3 with a 3" turbo back. I still have the the mid-pipe which is brand new. If anyone does the axle back and...

Cold Air Intake / 2016-2019 CX-9, same engine bay?

I would like to know anyones opinion of the AEM intake once they installed it. I like the fact that it is true cold air intake with a sealed air box. I have a Cork Sport SRI Which does have some improvement but I don't like the fact that it does pull warm air and makes some noises from time to...

Cold Air Intake / 2016-2019 CX-9, same engine bay?

Everything should be the same. Mazda hasn't changed anything structurally and won't until there is a 3rd gen. Also everything in the 2018+ Mazda 6 engine bay is also the same. When Cork Sport was coming out with their SRI I took some measurements between my 2016 CX-9 and the 2018 Mazda 6 and...

    CX-9 Rear Cargo Liner Options?

I have the Weather Tech that covers the 3rd row. It has a lip around the edge that come up about an inch which keeps liquid in. I have had a couple of instances where I have spilled some liquid and it kept it contained. I don't think a soft liner will do that.

    Cold Air Intake

Thanks for the info. I will make contact with Terry. One of the issues with Daniel at DR Tuning is he doesn't have access to a 2.5T.
