    2018 Mazda CX-5 vs 2018 Chevy Equinox

Yeah, it's one of those weird differences depending on market.....very strange. And it also has a CD-player ;)

    2018 Mazda CX-5 vs 2018 Chevy Equinox

We'll acutally it looks like we get them in Europe. This Danish car magazine was in Italy to test it and You can see the center vent open/close controls in one of the pictures (scroll down a bit) http://bilmagasinet.dk/biltest/foerste-tur-ny-mazda-cx-5-er-klar-til-at-udfordre-konkurrenterne

UK people, what are your experiences with the in car navigation?

Although I'm not in the Uk but in Denmark and have a CX-3 and not a CX-5, it's still the same system and I actually quite like it. It's not the fastest but it works and it use the TMC for traffic updates (I don't know if You have that system in the UK), if You don't subscribe to the live...

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers...

I totally agree. When I test drove the CX-3, I was quite sceptical about the infotainment and the fact that the touchscreen doesn't work when driving. But after I got my CX-3, I really love the system. The command knob is great and I love the fact, that I haven't got fingerprints all over my...

Sure hope they fixed this on the 2017...

You can actually buy an accessory in Japan that fixes this by spraying air over the lense when You engage reverse. http://www.mazda.co.jp/purchase/accessories/detail/KF124505

Official 2017 2nd-Gen CX-5 EPA Fuel Economy Ratings Are Out

Funny thing is, here in Denmark, the new Civic with the 1.5 Turbo 182hp is actually slower than the CX-5 and the Civic with CVT is slower and has worse MPG than the manual Civic. The CR-V hasn't arrived with the 1.5 Turbo yet, so I don't have the numbers for that.

    New 2017 CX-5 Revealed

The DVD player is even mentioned in the manual for my CX-3, so I'll bet it's available in Japan. It states that DVD is for video and I'll bet that it'll play music CDs as well.

    Mazda i-stop not working...

Following this, as I hate those street names popping up and to able to remove them would be great (although I'm a bit scared of bricking the system).

    Mazda i-stop not working...

Impressive :-) What's with the 0 km/h up in the right corner next to the clock?

    Mazda i-stop not working...

    Same here,...although I'm only on my 2nd tree :-)

    Mazda i-stop not working...

Please explain why You think it's dangerous with an auto? I have it in my CX-3 auto and it works perfectly and has never put in a dangerous situation, so I'm curious as to when that would be.

Radar Cruise Control - Low speed follow?

Most VW, seats, Skoda and Audis have queu-assist if fitted with automatic transmission, other producers also offer queu-assist for their adaptive cruise control. I've tried it myself in a Volvo on a busy freeway in the UK, it worked perfectly. I would love it in my CX-3, so I'm silently hoping...

I hope Mazda did some real good stuff for 2017...

Why would anyone claim that fully sucks or why should anyone bow their heads? I've only stated that I'll wait and see real life input, like from fully and from spritmonitor (which is european and therefor more likely to show what the mpg will be like in Europe) as basically every small...

I hope Mazda did some real good stuff for 2017...

I'll wait and see real-life input from drivers during 2017, when Honda introduces the 1.5 turbo and 1.0 turbo in Europe, to see how good mpg is.

I hope Mazda did some real good stuff for 2017...

I've owned a small capacity turbo (1.4 turbo) and I really liked it, but I like the 2.0 NA in my CX-3 more, they had a similar power output (120hp and 204-206 NM), the turbo at 1k rpm lower than the NA. The 2.0 NA has a more linear acceleration, it feels more relaxed and I get better mpg and is...

I hope Mazda did some real good stuff for 2017...

I totally agree with You on that. Which is why I love my CX-3 2.0 compared to my previous Fiat Bravo 1.4 Turbo (which was a very good engine, but with poorer mpg). Unless the Honda 1.5 Turbo is a huge improvement on most other smaller turbos, real life MPG will be much lower than stated in the...

The diesel are coming the diesel are coming

I can add the 2.5, as we have it in Denmark and it's the same as the 2.0: 1800 kg.

    New 2017 CX-5 Revealed

No washers or auto-leveling required, if output is below 2000 lumen. Many LED headlights (incl. Mazdas LEDs) as well as the new 25W Xenon lights are below the 2000 lumen limit, so they can drop the washers and auto-leveling. Mazda has kept the auto-leveling but not the washers for LED headlights.

6MT, 2 liter...can it handle this hairy situation?

Actually 45 degree grade is equal to 100% grade....so even worse than 71%. I'd love to see that road :-)
