    Off Topic New Vehicle Time

This is my 2015. My 2019 GT Reserve was the same. The Stelvio was not QUIIIITTTTEEE as bad, but still notable. The RDX I did not note this with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS7HhuUKj1E

    Off Topic New Vehicle Time

I drove a 2019 RDX. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. I am probably going to put money down on a 2022 A-Spec Advance tomorrow. It had none of the lagginess the Stelvio had, and was much more engaging to drive. Whether it is ultimately faster or not than the CX5, I do not know, but it also had none...

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

Yes, and the CX30. They both garner complaints over this. Cheaper.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

Cx50 is just a cheaper platform. Simple non-IRS. Pirated drivetrain. Some new sheet metal curves and interior bits. No ty. Its cheaper where it matters to me.

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

Killed a catalytic converter doing this in about 70k miles on my ws.6.

Winter is here and my CX-5 Turbo is now a 2.0L!

Yes, but if you can't get the car properly serviced, no ty. Goes for any brand.

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

This is pushing me hard to look at the Acura RDX A-spec advance. I have a test drive next week weather permitting.

Honestly, I would not own a car with such terrible support. This is also part of why I won't buy a Stelvio. No dealer within 180mi.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

I hope youre wrong, as the cx50 is pretty lame in many ways, but if the cheapen the cx5 and "turn it into" the cx50, per se, maybe they can have low margins on cx70 and not price it too high.

Ended up going with the Acura RDX...

She don't do so good with the AWD :/

I drove and picked it up. Easy peasy.

Ended up going with the Acura RDX...

Yes, but now I am reading the Mazda may or may not be an oil burner, now. That kinda stacks as worse than a noisy pano roof. I am also seeing evidence that it's faster than numbers suggested in the past, etc. Dunno, torn on it.

It was mostly said in gest, but this oil burning issue has me looking at the RDX A Spec Advance. I keep trying to find some YT of one racing a CX5 turbo out of curiosity, lol!

Ended up going with the Acura RDX...

I keep seeing issues like limp mode and boxy flex/pano roof popping and dash rattle that all seem t o have no resolution from Acura. It's a "nope" for me for those reasons. Then we have Mazda with burning oil and no fix. It may push me to Alfa Romeo as a more reliable solution, lmao! Wild!

    MotorTrend 2021 Toyota RAV4 or Mazda CX-5?

How can Mazda say "we do not know the cause" and also say "we know the exact production day that we solved the issue", in the same tsb?

    MotorTrend 2021 Toyota RAV4 or Mazda CX-5?

If it has not been determined, how do they know such precise cutoff production dates?

    MotorTrend 2021 Toyota RAV4 or Mazda CX-5?

Ima averaging mid 40s. The issue is the rear motor has 53hp/89# torque...not very equal. At all. Mazda has resolved all of the engine issues as far as I am aware for 2022YM.

    MotorTrend 2021 Toyota RAV4 or Mazda CX-5?

The AWD system has kindof shown its arse in the snow/ice. As to the CX5, they fixed cold weather limp mode and made it stiffer and better shifting. I'll trade the bit of power and efficiency for a better AWD. The CX70 will use cheaper parts from non-Japanese suppliers to cut costs, per Mazda...
