CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

Also, the manufacturers markup their product to absorb that $7,500. Case in point, RAV4 Prime. I was first on the list for one of those until I saw the $50k price tag for a well equipped model. Hence the 2020 Signature in my garage.

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

If you’re right, then the CX-70 could be a little beefy. I’m anxious to see what the November reveal brings.

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

The CX-50 is sharing platforms with the 3 and CX-30 though. This looks substantially larger than what that platform could handle.

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

Are we actually looking at the CX-70 in these photos? https://tflcar.com/2021/05/next-gen-mazda-cx-5-cx-50-spotted-news/amp/

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

I’m hoping the CX-70 isn’t too big. I was looking forward to a bargain X3 M40i from Mazda.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

How did you reinstall the plastic shroud covering the harness on the intercooler?

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Good stuff! I wasn’t looking forward to removing the bumper cover. My JB4 showed up today. We’ll see how the week goes, but I should have it installed no later than Saturday. I’ll definitely snap some pics.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Nice! That’s the first time slip I’ve ever seen for a CX-5. What was in the left lane? Have you seen/ordered the JB4 tuner for the 2.5t from Burger Motorsports?

    Mazda CX-50

They can call it whatever they like as long as it has a straight six with a turbo under the hood and RWD bias. 😁

    Insurance Ripoffs

You’ll also want to check with independent insurance agents. They have a lot more options available and can usually find a substantially better price than the big companies.

Winter is here and my CX-5 Turbo is now a 2.0L!

I just ordered it on Sunday. Hopefully it arrives in August as they predicted. I’ll definitely do a write-up on it. I should get some sort of device for measuring performance so I can post quantitative results.

CX-5 Air conditioning performance in hot weather

On really hot days I’ll spin the AC compressor faster by running the engine at higher RPMs via manual mode or selecting “sport”. After a few minutes it’s usually blowing cold enough to switch back to a regular driving mode. For reference, I live in an area that regularly hits 90’s and has very...

    Mazda CX-50

Absolutely! Reads like a bargain BMW X3 M40i. Although, in that engine’s current configuration I’m a little confused by the plumbing running across the top of the valve cover. Maybe it’s a turbo sans intercooler plumbing in that photo? Maybe an air-to-water intercooler hiding on the passenger side?

    Which CX-5 should I buy?

Everything else aside, I wouldn’t be a CX-5 owner if it wasn’t for the turbo motor.

Cross shop CX-5 with 2022 Hyundai Tucson?

Resale value has been terrible, too. Recent transactions excluded.
